Chapter 59 - (Part 4)

"Hehe… I returned it. Say, will you bowl the same delivery again?" Alan asked courteously.

Gabriel ignored. "Very well then…" Alan replied taking his position. Gabriel suddenly smirked. Standing on the same spot he once again threw the ball near Alan.

Alan gazed at the ball however stopped as it approached closer. Keeping the bat before his knee Alan stopped the ball hit right into the stumps. The ball rolling over the pitch stopped before Gabriel's feet. "A dot return hun… I thought it would be a pavilion March back." he leered.

Alan blinking his eyes stood stunned for a while. "If I hadn't stopped that… I would've…" "It would've been an out. An LBW to be specific." Continued Seraph smiling. "That is Dark Blizzard form 2." Kenzo told.

"The same kind of ball, using the same stance is delivered with a double spin which causes confusion to the batsman at where to hit. However, the ball only lands towards the center in the stumps. But who knows it can even be aimed towards the right or the left side." read Isa as Zach nodded.

"You mean he merged another kind of delivery with his original Googly from before?!" asked Aaron surprised. "Yeah… a work cleverness." responded Evan. Kazuna, Elias and Senri eyed Alan silently.

Alan looking at his bat thought, "What was that a second ago? It felt as if the ball would just slam on the wicket against me. Even tough, it was bowled exactly like before Googly before however the outcome was entirely different."

Gabriel eyed sneered sarcastically, "What? So shocked that you can't even play anymore?"

Alan stared wide eyed sensing evil surrounding him. "Eh… really an Asura hun…" he thought gulping excited. "Huh? Who the hell do you think you are talking to? On the contrary, I was waiting for the next one. To think that you are called as an angel but turn out to be a devil is quiet intriguing in its own self." Alan replied winking playfully.

Gabriel hearing his comment rolled his eyes, preparing himself. He once more delivered the ball before Alan who stared at it cautiously. However, this time the ball had changed its full direction going into the stumps. "A perfect full toss spin…" Alan thought.

"Many batsmen tend to get out but, a spin skilled like me won't." Taking a step backward Alan secured his position soon slamming the ball towards the ground as it reached the boundary staring a four. Gabriel grinned.

"A four…" whispered Ezekiel looking at Xavier, Helios and Kenzo who stood unfazed. "Hey captain, aren't you a least bit of worried right now? If Gabriel keeps going on this way then Alan won't get out at all." asked Azazel.

Kenzo sighed, "Alan is a spin returner after all. If you expect he would get out on his prime point, then you are an idoit. He isn't called a world ranker for nothing." "Only 2 more balls are left now." Heber said.

Gabriel's delivery once again ruling the pitch. The ball like the first Googly landed before Alan as he smashed a huge six. "And a last one left now…" pointed Aigou. "Don't close your eyes. It might be a Pandora box!" guessed Ren excited.

"Try to think about good things for once, you seeker of bad omen…" sighed Noah speechless.

"It won't be an out…" Senri closed his eyes sleeping once more.

"And, here we have this one. Who always sees the future, god knows how. Sigh… such fun bombers." Noah uttered.

Kazuna eyeing Senri looked at Alan below. "It's the last ball. What are you going to show me at last?" Alan asked smiling. Gabriel eyeing him sighed, "Dark Blizzard's third form." Alan grinning.

"You didn't ignore me this time hun. Well that's how I like it! Show me!" he exclaimed.

"Dark Blizzard's third form?! No way!!" shrieked Feng.

"Looks like he wants his opponent traumatized after all." told Cassiel. "We can't say for sure since Alan's leagues ahead of him." Poseidon said as the middle schoolers endorsed.

"I just realized something, like Adam you didn't wear any gear except for those light gloves. You aren't scared of spins right?" Gabriel pointed out. Alan nodded. "You're right. I am not." he grinned confidently.

"However, too bad. This time it will be the exact opposite." Gabriel spun the ball ceaselessly.

Standing over the pitch Alan reviewed, "First ball, Googly landed away from the wicket for catch outs, Second one leads right into the stumps dealing with LBW's and now the third one… let's see what it's like…"

"Here it goes…" whispered Kenzo. Ines, Jonas and Christopher with the others looked at the pitch anxiously. Gabriel jumped forward balled towards Alan with his grip twisted over. "He spun his whole wrist!" called Orion surprised. "That's it! The heart conjuring Dark Blizzard's third form." Whispered Xavier.

Alan gazed at the ball as it spun bizarrely towards him moving right and left with no end. The ball bounced on the full pitch spinning towards him. Alan who was about to hit it had suddenly halted as the ball lobbed towards his head about to hit him.

"Oh no!" Alan cautioned bending low.

The ball fiercely went over his head whizzing in the wicket keeper's glove. Alan turning around took a look as his heart thumped fast.

"A top spinner…? As well as a bouncer?" whispered Aaron surprised. "A great delivery, but it had to be a little low for a bold." Seraph remarked. "But still, even till the end. Gabriel never once gave in." Xavier commented.

"So cool!!"Adam cheered suddenly. The middle schoolers eyeing him blinked. "Did you see that? He really knocked Alan's consciousness off for a moment! Way to go Asura!!" Adam continued to cheer.

"Back to your usual self hun… took you long enough Adam." Ryan said. Adam hugged his from the seat behind.

"Haha!! I am back!" he laughed, "Missed me?"

Ryan rolling his eyes rejected unwittingly, "Not really."

Seraph, Cassiel, Xavier and Poseidon smiled at his sight. "A tremendous delivery. He has what it takes to be a team's vanguard. Not only his balling skills are polished, he even read Alan's move of return to determine which ball he'll deliver next." observed Evan.

Isa with the sight thought tapping his knee, "So this knight rules up to your expectations hun… who will you send next now, your highness?" "See… I told you Alan won't get out. No matter what ever kind of spin it is, Alan won't be intimidated by It." Senri shrugged.

Zach and Kazuna endorsed. "Tch!" Gabriel clicked his tongue annoyed. "Too bad, it was a single over. I would've loved to return more of your deliveries." Alan said heading towards him.

Gabriel glared threatening. "Don't think it's over. You can return all spins? I don't believe gibberish like that! I'll make sure to lead you back to the pavilion with a spin you've never seen before. A gold, a platinum or whatsoever in the world you are, I don't give a damn about it!" he claimed heading back towards the middle schoolers pavilion without batting a glance behind.

"Heeh... such frightening vigor…" whispered Alan rubbing his neck. "Alright, I'll be waiting. Show me a spin I have never seen before." he challenged. Gabriel smirked hearing his words.

Alan gazing at his back thought seriously, "But, that last delivery… it felt as if I would be engulfed by a demon. If I hadn't evaded it that second… it would've really hit me. After such a long time a spin delivery surprised me this much? Even I am taken aback."

"Brother…" Ines waved as Gabriel went stepped inside the middle schoolers pavilion sitting beside Feng.

"Tch! And, here I thought you would go and beat him up. Instead, you are the one who's beaten up. Such a shame." Feng mocked. Gabriel clutched his fists annoyed, "I am gonna dig up your grave right here and right now! You bastard…!"

"Alright, alright… there's no need to fight. You did your best. Here you go." Poseidon interrupted handing him a sports drink. "Oh my god~ I am so scared~ I'll be buried~" acted Feng agitating him even more.

"Stop it, Feng." Xavier said as Feng sat down silent. "Yes Vice-captain…" he whispered. "Don't let it get you brother, you did your best." encouraged Ines.

"Yeah… Alan was under your control, the whole time. You did great." Seles added. "Yup, no need to feel upset captain!" cheered Farran and Christopher from above.

The middle schoolers too endorsed. "Hm! Hm! I could clearly see demons surrounding you while you looked like their king!" claimed Adam joyfully.

The middle schoolers hearing his words stood quiet in disbelief as Gabriel eyed him annoyed.

"Augh… this boy…" weighed Seraph slamming his head aghast as the others chuckled.
