"This method is right. I also wanted to work on that. I'll try it once we practice." said Poseidon pointing over a book talking to Xavier as Ezekiel followed them yawing lazily.
Xavier nodded, "Cassiel said the same thing as well. So I wondered if it would be of helpful to you too." Poseidon handed the book back to Xavier, "Hm… I think so as well. Don't worry, I will surely try it." "Come on Ezekiel, we are leaving." Helios ordered Ezekiel who gulped. "Yes… I am coming…" Ezekiel pouted. "Let's go brother Feng!" called Ryan as he jumped and clapped his palm with Feng's.
Soon the middle schoolers left one after another as the high schoolers waved them back. "Azazel! Heber! Hurry up!" called Kenzo as the two followed behind. "Be careful." waved Ren. "And don't hurt yourself…" added Noah. Gabriel eyed them frustrated, "We aren't kids…" "Still, leaving so late at night. I wonder what they are up to." wondered Orion.
"Say! Should we follow them?" asked Aigou sneakily. "I don't want to." replied Nagi uninterested heading upstairs. "Hey, now don't neglect them." told Aaron. "A waste of my precious time." Nagi added in denial. "Geez… he's just like that." complained Aigou.
"And what if I say that you get a whole lot of data on them then what?" asked Isa. Nagi who was about to go up his room halted in between. "What did you say?" he asked from the grill. Ren and Noah gazed at Isa surprised.
"Isa is right, you don't even know what kind of things they might reveal in between their practice. So go and keep an eye on them." endorsed Evandor coming out of the restroom.
"Alright… if you say so vice-captain." Nagi replied. Zach and Isa smiled. "You really do know when to pull someone's strings, your highness." commented Elias.
"Sigh… maybe this is the only good thing I know…" Isa replied, his expression grim. Zach with Elias, Ren and Noah gazed at him silently. Zach soon patted his shoulder. "It isn't the only thing…" he consoled.
Isa blinking his eyes surprised laughed, "Haha… don't worry. I am alright. You don't need to tell me that, I already know." Zach nodded. "Come on! Let's follow them!!" cheered Aigou getting ready.
The middle schoolers rushing towards the fourth stadium entered inside. "Come on! Gather around every one!" Kenzo called. The thirteen of them quickly stood around in a circle. "Just so you know, the opponent this time is not simple. So we have to give our best." Kenzo told. "And, give our best I made a plan for all of us, to complete right now." Cassiel continued.
"You did?! When did you do that?" Heber asked surprised. "In my sleep." Cassiel replied opening his documents. Heber with Azazel and Feng eyed him with their mouths a gape. "As expected of our data genius." commented Seraph. "Way to go, Cassiel!" cheered Adam.
Cassiel smiled, "Alright, Alan Rex Lorenzo from the studies, is an All-rounder. A fast baller and a batsman countering spins of all kinds. Just by his qualities, he is considered a genius. However, we on the other hand have a great variety since, we are many."
"So just like he wanted, I think he would check the batsman with his balling and the ballers with his batting while the all-rounders are going to face him against both. In that case, this is the practice plan for all of you individually. I hope you can complete this. If you have any problem in understanding ask me, Poseidon or Xavier." Cassiel explained handing each one of them a sheet in hand.
"After you complete your practice, you are free to practice however you wish to." he ended. "This is it?" Ryan inquired looking at sheet front and back.
"Yes, looking at how much time we have left for practice and how dark it has already turned. I made this practice sheet in check of all these conditions." Cassiel replied.
Kenzo looking at Ryan cross smacked his head, "Don't be so full of yourself you rascal! Do it if you have so much time to waste only talking!"
Ryan eyeing him vexed challenged, "Oh really, you fake king! Let's have a competition to see who wins first!" "Oh~ bring it on! This king will gladly face you!!" Kenzo claimed. The two of them smirking at each other evilly. "Here they go again…" sighed Helios. Poseidon and Xavier smiled at each other.
"Should we start now?" asked Gabriel. "Of course, the sooner the better." replied Cassiel. Shortly the boys some on right and the others on left of the ground completed their tasks. "Lower your arm a little Heber, and then hit the ball. Try to keep this posture constant." Kenzo corrected his posture.
"Got it, captain!" said Heber grasping his bat. "Haha!! I hit a four again!!" gleamed Adam hitting a four once more. "Tch!" Azazel clicked his tongue annoyed. "Try to bowl a low Knuckle next time Azazel." Xavier trained. "Huh? What is that?" Azazel questioned back.
Xavier smiling explained, "Since fast balls are your specialty the harder you deliver the ball, the easier it becomes to hit. Because, Adam counters fast balls for your Knuckle ball try to deliver it slower with a low pace next time. So that, a mirage can be created. A mirage of a fast ball under a slow one. Because, the next time Adam hits a four, it will surely be a catch."
"Ah… now I get It." Azazel wondered. "Seraph your deliveries are slowing down. Make sure to keep them fast under a slow mirage." Poseidon said. "Alright, I'll make sure I do it right next time." Seraph responded.
"Say boy… are you already tired?" Helios asked Ryan who stood on the pitch panting hard. "You've gotten really strong since the finals hun?" Ryan questioned wiping his sweat off his chin.
Helios grinned twirling his ball round and round. "Of course, I did. But, to see that you can't even counter my spins. You've gotten a lot weaker young prince." His expression grim he delivered the ball harshly towards him again. Ryan smirking flunged his bat as the ball whooshed over the stadium, falling into the audience seat. "It's a six isn't it?"
"Me gotten weaker? That's impossible! Come on, bring it on! I'll make sure to return each and every single spin from now on." Ryan pointed his at Helios with a large confident grin. Helios heading back replied, "Now that's more I like It. however, be careful not to get out before returning all of them."
"Come on Ezekiel, where's your mind. Are you still sleepy?" Cassiel threw the ball towards him. "Tch!" Ezekiel tapped his bat annoyed, "I am not sleepy at all! Your deliveries are confusing!" "Oh~ is that so? Then I suppose you work harder in returning them and concentrate since, I already bold you a fifth time." Cassiel replied as the ball hit the wicket once more clearing an out.
Ezekiel irritated sat on the pitch. "If you continue like this, you might not even be able to stand a chance against Alan tomorrow." Cassiel walking towards him. Ezekiel eyed him taking a deep breath, "Your balling is different, and I can't seem to grasp it. I try to counter one kind of it and then you throw another new one. I don't have the brains to counter new balls again and again."
Cassiel gave his hand, "Come on get up. If that's the case then you should've said so. Let me teach you something secretly. How does that sound?" Ezekiel blinked his eyes perplexed, grabbing his hand he stood up.
"Hey!! Why do I, out of everyone has to start with practicing catches?!" Feng complained catching Gabriel's hit. Gabriel uttered frustrated, "Quit whining! Just catch the balls and get over with it. I also have to continue my practice after that."
Feng eyed him speechless, "Moreover, with this guy…" Interrupting his thoughts Xavier called the audience's seat, "Don't complain Feng, just complete your task and then come to me okay?" "Vice-captain…" Feng eyed him with tearfully.
"Since, you are also a wicket keeper, I thought that Alan might test from this area as well. So I deliberately, wrote down this exercise in your training plan." Cassiel informed. Feng sighed, "Alright… I'll do it."
Soon the boys practicing, completed their tasks one by one changing partners as time passed by in the blink of an eye.
