Beelzebub had received the information about the five floors and what their purpose was… he knew what kind of world awaited him on the second floor, but being here in person was a different experience.
It was also easier to understand the scale of their next goal!
The second floor had a seemingly floating island perched in the middle of the sea of darkness… which was nothing but a natural bottomless moat. Falling here meant a certain death: no one doubted that.
The circular canal of death… also had a clear purpose: to suck inside the abundance of white heat from the factories splitting the entire island in half. Those were similar to smithies, with colossal white chimneys stretching toward the ceiling of the second floor, producing tons of black clouds teeming the cave's sky.
It seemed as though thunder would soon roar here… and a storm would dominate the entire world.
