Beelzebub gasped and opened his eyes, only to find Gloria's crying face and tears falling onto his cheeks… he barely could keep looking at her as he felt drained of strength and exhausted. It was as though he had gone through the worst physical training that somehow wore down his body and mind.
He couldn't catch his breath and nearly choked.
"Beel… you're back! How do you feel?! You were… soulless, weren't you? I felt that! Did this bitch take you away? What should I do?!" Gloria was in such a troubled state that she fought against her thoughts.
One side of hers was immensely worried about her master, another believed that the owner of this place forcefully yanked Beel's soul and wanted to strangle her to death, and even another side felt so hopeless she asked him what to do!
Beelzebub strained to raise his hand to tell her that all was fine now… he then fell asleep before being able to wipe tears off her…
