Listening to those people had given Beelzebub a new view of the world.
The villagers started sharing their stories with the bandits, and some twisted them to the point where it seemed all wrongdoings were deserved.
A few men didn't even mind giving their wives to the bandits just so they could work like usual… when their wives heard about it, they burst out crying and were forced to agree with their husbands.
Those stories… that kind of life… and the hatred he received from people he wanted to save… left Beelzebub bewildered and bemused.
"They're broken." Emilia whispered to her master's ear while standing straight with her hand on her sword's hilt.
Gloria remained silent but kept her eyes on her Beel. She knew that new experiences could really impact people's hearts and that her master was quite liable now that he was searching for himself in this new world.
