Chapter 63: The Tavern (1)
Aric's hunters had survived the first mission.
All of them.
It was exhausting, and their lives were sometimes at stake, but the rewards were worth it. Of course, the main reason everyone survived and did so great in the forest of monsters was basically the alchemy of the demon.
No one knew that it was Beelzebub's grand craft, though.
Sometimes, monsters also changed the target and ran away to the forest for some unknown reason, which in the hunter's eyes was them scaring the enemies with their impressive new might.
That was once again Beelzebub, but some things were better to be left as a secret.
Feeling great and stronger, the hunters wanted to go to the next village as soon as possible. However, they also couldn't let adrenaline take over them.
Aric ensured everyone understood it.
He still couldn't erase his wide smile as he listened to his buddies talking aloud.
