Things started to get serious. The raptors were pushing more and more the girls. I saw the alpha readying itself to attack the girls. But I came as close as possible to a raptor before he did. Zorg did the same with the nearest one.
We then jumped on them while yelling to attract the leader's attention. The two beasts were caught off guard. We used this opportunity to pierce them with our spears.
My spear penetrated the flesh and reached the beast's heart killing it. However, Zorg wasn't as lucky. At the last moment, his target moved, but his spears still succeeded in piercing its leg. The beast was seriously injured and wouldn't be able to move as quickly.
After the initial effect of the surprise attack, the beasts quickly adapted and sent three other raptors on us. We tried to join with the girls, but they blocked us.
The raptors' leader looked angry at their loss but remained calm and simply observed us.
