The two men pulled away and settled down on the couches once again, and then, Arwan turned his gaze back to her, and their gazes locked.
Seraphina watched how his expression grew more serious and she was already able to sense the weight of what he was about to say.
"I need something from you, Lilac Girl," he said, his voice low but firm. "I need you to promise me something."
Her heart skipped a beat, but she nodded, urging him to continue. Even though she had no idea of what he was going to ask for, she was still ready to do her best to give it to him.
Arwan leaned forward. His gaze was unwavering as he spoke, "I need you to promise that you will never leave us. Not me, not my wolf, not any of my brothers."
Out of everything she was expecting to him to say, this wasn't even on her list. Well, she didn't have a list to begin with, but still...
