Seraphina just stared at her fourth husband with her jaw hanging open while her brain tried to wrap itself around the big revelation. "I-is that normal? Being born as a vampire?"
Thinking about the matter, she was starting to wonder whether the books of the mortal world got their theory wrong about vampires not being able to be born, but had to be turned into one.
Kethan let out a small sigh as he relaxed against the headboard of the bed and pulled her along with him. "Your source of information isn't that wrong. Being born as a vampire is next to impossible... unless..."
He didn't continue after that and trailed off, leaving his words hanging between them.
"Unless?" She pressed him to finish the sentence.
"Unless... we are talking about the royal vampire bloodline. The original vampire royal family where each vampire is born instead of being turned into one." Kethan finished.
