"Lucian?"
She watched him with confusion, not understanding why he pulled away from her all of a sudden. She watched as he turned away from her and let out a deep sigh.
The desire that was clouding her senses, slowly started lifting as she realized that something was off about how he was reacting. She had to take several breaths to get a grip on herself.
Right when she finally calmed down a little bit, Lucian also turned to face her. She was surprised to see that he was already back to his calm self, and there was no trace left of the desire that was overflowing in his deep ocean blue eyes just moments ago.
The sudden shift in his expressions and feelings made her realize that whatever happened between them merely moments ago, it had already came to an end. Even if she wanted, she couldn't keep herself from feeling sad. Whatever she felt for him, it was more than just mere attraction, but she wouldn't call it love either... at least, not yet.
