Arjun woke up early the next morning, feeling a sense of anticipation and excitement. Today was the day he would begin his journey as a true warrior of Kalaripayattu.
He got up from his bed, still feeling a little sore from the previous day's training. He stretched his arms and legs, taking deep breaths to calm his mind.
As he made his way to the training grounds, he thought about the final test he had passed the day before. The test had been grueling, a true test of both his physical and mental strength. He had been required to face a series of opponents, each one more skilled and powerful than the last, until he had finally emerged victorious.
But passing the test was only the first step in his journey. The true test, his master had told him, was to go out into the world and explore, to face new challenges and push himself to become even stronger and more skilled.
As Arjun arrived at the training grounds, he saw his master waiting for him, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. Kavya was also there, training with some other students.
"Are you ready for the next step, Arjun?" his master asked, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
Arjun nodded, his heart racing. He was eager to prove himself, to show that he had what it took to become a true warrior of Kalaripayattu.
"Your journey begins today," his master said. "Your task is simple: to explore the world around you, to seek out new challenges and experiences, and to push yourself to become the best warrior you can be."
Arjun felt a sense of excitement and nervousness at the prospect of leaving his familiar surroundings. "Where should I go, Master?" he asked.
His master looked thoughtful. "There are many places you could go, Arjun. One option is to travel north, to the Himalayas. There, you could learn from the monks who live in the high mountain monasteries. They practice a unique form of martial arts that is said to be very powerful."
Kavya spoke up. "Alternatively, you could travel east, to the dense jungles of Assam. There, you will find the Mishing tribe, who have a long history of practicing their own form of martial arts."
Arjun listened intently, his mind racing with possibilities. He knew that whichever path he chose, it would be a long and challenging journey.
"I think I will go to the Himalayas, Master," Arjun said after a moment's thought. "I want to learn more about the unique martial arts practiced by the monks there."
His master nodded approvingly. "An excellent choice, Arjun. But be warned, the journey to the Himalayas is long and treacherous. You will face many dangers along the way, from bandits to wild animals. You must be prepared to face these challenges and emerge victorious."
Arjun took a deep breath, feeling a sense of determination building inside him. "I am ready, Master," he said. "I will do whatever it takes to become a true warrior of Kalaripayattu."
His master smiled. "I have no doubt that you will, Arjun. Now go, and may the gods watch over you on your journey."
Arjun slung a small pack over his shoulder, containing supplies for his journey, and set off northward towards the Himalayas. The journey was long and arduous, and Arjun faced many challenges along the way. He encountered fierce storms and treacherous terrain, and narrowly avoided a band of robbers who had been preying on travelers in the area.
