"Long yearning, my foot!" She muttered to herself and her eyes went back to the hand that was on her wrist. She looked back up to him, wondering if he had suddenly gone crazy. However, it turned out she was right because he instinctively pulled his hand away from her wrist, making the tray slip easily from her hand to his desk.
She arranged the dishes back on the tray and held it, and before she walked away, she peeked at him, trying to understand if whatever he had done was intentional or if he had some psychiatric problem. She wanted to know, however, she was hit with his sudden cold reply, "And what are you staring at?"
She blinked and immediately turned back, heading towards the entrance. Why must he be so harsh on her? Wasn't she supposed to be the one annoyed because he was holding her without prior notice?
