Saverio walked to the door of his office and then locked it, his body becoming weaker every second with each step that he took. He walked back to his seat and closed his eyes.
After a while, the once silence surrounding him had dissipated and he could now hear the whistling of birds and the calm beat of the wind lacing the nearby sea. Since he had a sharper sensual sense, he could hear what a normal being found hard to hear.
Knowing where he was already, he opened his eyes. "It's night here," he whispered as he walked two steps from where he had appeared. He looked around him, inspecting every spectacle of the area he was now. "It doesn't seem something is amiss, why was I being summoned?"
He was on a lonely single cleared path, surrounded by different lanterns which were lined at his two sides as he walked past. The lanterns illuminated the dark path where he was and he slowly turned to look at the back, to see the outer part of the palace.
