Chapter 21 - A Nancy CEO

Eva sighed as she watched the two of them exit her office. She looked at the file and then her mien suddenly changed into a glare, as if she was going to split the file into four anytime soon.

She had ignored the initial parts that had talked about the interest of the CEO and all that shits needed to be done right after she resumed work early in the morning.

Right now, it seemed that she would have been brewing his coffee and then looking through his schedule and then, at the same time, walking to the cafeteria in the company to get him the food that he was supposed to eat on a Monday morning.

Whoever was at the cafeteria could have been sent to bring the food but it seemed like the CEO's eating time differed every day and he always ensured that his secretary took the errand himself.

"This is simply baby feeding!" Eva uttered in surprise as she reopened the earlier pages to reread. "Is this CEO a frat boy who thinks he owns the world simply because his father put him on the seat? Or that the world owes him. Ah...that is famous!" She exclaimed as she continuously read whatever she had read previously.

"He comes to the organisation without a tie and that is because he couldn't fix one properly himself, so once he gets to his office, I should first look at him and tie his tie?" She looked horrified as if she was for the first time reading it.

She leaned backwards and groaned, "That... whatever man he is, should just get himself a wife! I would be his secretary, not his wife!" Her voice was slightly higher.

She was stressed because she didn't think she would ever do all these things for a man, let alone her boss. This had never been the case in WILANDTECH.

"Eva, you sought this job and you just have to bear with it for how many years you see fit. You are a CEO's nanny, you should be proud of yourself!" She told herself and then laughed at how funny it was. "Truly, all that is written here for me sounds like he wants a nanny rather than a secretary, no wonder that staff member had told me I would be his caretaker."

Her eyes skimmed until they reached the lower page and then her eyes widened in shock, "I also have to give him his mirror when he suddenly becomes angry?"

A sarcastic laughter boomed the air and she had no idea if she was going to stop laughing any moment from now. As she continuously laughed like a mad woman, a tear dropped from her left eye and she rubbed it off with the back of her hand. "I am very much interested in this CEO right now. I never knew he could be a nancy CEO who is quite popular at that."

Her fingers graced her chin as she thought, "Perhaps, there have also dealt with those media to prevent them from uttering any gists concerning him being a nancy?"

Eva shook her head in amusement before she stopped reading whatever she was reading. She had read all those stuff when Mr Chan was here and it wasn't as funny as it was now, on reading it the second time. She sure didn't laugh initially not because it wasn't funny but because she didn't want Mr. Chan to think that she had gone crazy.

"I will just come back to those later, especially when I am bored."

She flipped the pages and got to her current page.

Meanwhile, some rooms apart on the same floor, Saverio looked completely stunned as his eyes were fixed on his system.

His jaw was gritted and his hands clenched as he continuously heard the woman badmouth him while Leon stood before him, almost laughing at him.

However, when Leon noticed that the boss almost glared at him, his face became still like he hadn't been laughing at all.

Saverio closed his system almost immediately and glared at Leon, "Is this the reason you said female secretaries are even better than males?"

"Boss-"

"Just answer! Imagine, she hadn't seen me and she is already badmouthing me! How dare her?"

"Boss, you should know that she has the right to say whatever she wants to."

"What?" Saverio stood up. "What do you mean?"

"You are intruding on her privacy. A woman's privacy to be specific."

Saverio knew he was defeated, he just sat down, with his venomous blue eyes looking at nowhere in particular. He was entirely displeased for no reason and Leon walked over to the coffee brewing machine to get him a coffee.

Leon dropped it on the table and he took a sip before dropping it, "Leon, whatever the hell was written in that file of yours?!"

"Things she ought to know, Mr Saverio."

"Things she ought to know? Even my...my previous relationship with Ms Hong?"

"Ah...that-"

"That?" He glared. If looks could kill, Leon definitely would have been in a coma.

"I mean...she asked and I didn't see any reason for hiding that. She is an employer and every staff employed here knows that well enough."

"Can you hear yourself?"

"It is necessary, Mr Saverio. Sometimes, Ms Hong comes in here and I will have to send her off without your awareness. Ms Lee should know any trivial matters as that."

"She ought not to know things miniature as that, Leon. She ought to learn other things pertaining to the company, not about me!" He swallowed as he uttered, his face low as he looked up at Leon, "Do I look like a sissy?"

"Ah, no."

"Then why-"

"You look like a celebrity and a celebrity ought to take care of their skin which is what you-"

"What are you even saying?"

"I mean...she will understand."

"What the heck, Leon? Understand what?"

But Leon didn't reply since his phone vibrated in his pocket, so he uttered, his smiling face fastly dismissed, "Boss, it is time for your meeting with Mr Jones."

As if their conversation never started, Saverio stood up and put on his suit even before he was given it. But still, his dread didn't vanish. "Just send her the RFID card before we exit."

"But I think she needs to be with us too so that she can be familiar with-"

"Not now, Leon!"
