"General, is it okay?" One knight stood beside the leader and asked in a low voice.
"I don't see any problem." The leader said this as he observed Thyra fighting with the other knights. He turned towards his other knights, saying, "Stop her soldiers from participating."
A pair of knights quickly moved to stop them, and the leader said to the knight beside him, "No matter who dies, it will be to our advantage."
"But what if those knights report it to the duke?"
"For that, they have to survive."
"Huh!" the knight looked at Thyra, who was fighting against about fifteen knights. "Do you think she will win?"
"I don't see any reason for her not to."
"But…" The knight could see that Thyra was avoiding all the attacks directed at her. However, it was hard for her swords to penetrate full-plated armour. "But what if the knights win?"
"What if they win? It's not like that duke is here to see what is happening here." The smile on the edge of the leader's lips made the knight realise what the general was planning.
Thyra, on the other hand, had no idea what they were talking about. At that moment, she was struggling to penetrate the knight's armour.
Although she was able to hit them, it was nowhere near enough to create another dent. And now that the knights were aware of her strength, they were moving cautiously.
Even if Thyra got the chance to get close to one of the knights, others would jump in. Even with her superior speed, Thyra was getting fed up.
'The sword won't work, and the punches are too weak to take care of them with a single attack,' Thyra knew the problem, but she couldn't find a suitable solution until…
*Boom*
Thyra vanished from the spot and reappeared at a place not too far from her soldiers. The club of the last orc they fought was still there.
The club was still too heavy to be wielded with one hand. However, sparks began to spread from her hand as Thyra used her skill. She grabbed it and lunged towards the knights fighting her troop.
*Bam*
Thyra swung it with all the force, and Thyra was sure it would hit the mark. Alas! It was stopped an inch away from his helmet.
"These guys are mine. You can fight with them."
Thyra didn't notice when the leader appeared between them and stopped the club with his hand. He was wearing a glove, but that didn't explain how he was able to stop his attack.
"If you attack my men, I must fight too." The leader let go of the club, saying, "You don't want that, right?"
Thyra stared at the man, not understanding his true intention.
"Don't worry. My men aren't bloodthirsty monsters. They are just stopping them from helping you."
Thyra glared at the leader, who had left his palm print on the club. However, she didn't dare fight him and vanished with a boom.
This time, the fight went much more smoothly. One swing was enough to squeeze red juice out of the breathing hole of the deformed helmet.
It shocked other knights, and Thyra didn't miss the chance. However, the knight moved quickly. It didn't hit him perfectly, but it was enough to break his neck at a weird angle.
"Triangel formation." From the voice of this knight, Thyra knew it was the one who was trying to stop that leader from speaking.
Quickly, the knights formed into three-knight formations. The lone knight hesitated, and Thyra took advantage of the situation.
Instead of hitting him in the head, she struck his leg, causing it to splay out at an odd angle before he collapsed to the floor.
"Ahhhhhhhh…" The knight cried. He continued to struggle as he tried to reach the formation, but *Bang*
The club fell again. It broke the wrist of the knight. He grabbed one hand with the other as he was screaming in pain.
"These knights are too weak." The leader, who was standing a little away from them, said. Although he spoke in a normal voice, everyone could hear it.
He didn't care, adding, "I broke the hand of that shieldbearer. He didn't let out a scream."
"What are you doing?" The bossy knight cried, "Help us."
He didn't show any more respect to the so-called 'general' as he called for help. Thyra's body taunted. She knew fighting would be hard for her if the leader joined. She cautiously looked at him.
"Don't worry about me." The leader pointed at the bossy knight, adding, "He has no authority over me."
"You, empire's dog." The bossy knight with the damaged armour swore.
Thyra has no intention of moving in. She used her club and slammed down on the other leg of the knight on the ground. The scream grew, as did the frustration of the other knights. However, none of them dared to break the formation.
Thyra had no intention of waiting. She simply grabbed the wounded knight by one of his legs and flung him at the other. No matter how cautious they were, they couldn't just kick their companion out of the way.
The one in front instinctively tried to catch him. By the time he noticed his mistake, it was too late. And a blow to the chest sent him flying.
It broke the formation. One knight ran towards the other formation for safety, while the other ran towards the 'general,' who had stopped Thyra's attack with his hand.
Thyra, however, ignored all of them and appeared in front of the formation further from her.
*Bang*
From this moment forward, it was a massacre. Thyra killed almost all of them, leaving one. However, as she was about to move towards him, the leader moved first.
And the head of the last knight squeezed like a watermelon beneath his feet. Thyra's grip on the club tightened as she cautiously looked at the leader.
"Don't be too worried." He shook the excess blood from her metal shoe, saying, "I just want to keep the identity of our friend hidden."
'If you care about your friend, then why didn't you help his man.' Thyra didn't dare to ask the question.
"I really want to make you join us." He looked at her, adding, "But I think you are as stubborn as me. You won't join me, would you?"
She wasn't sure if it was his confidence or his pressure that made her think twice about whether she would be able to escape. Thyra didn't dare to move carelessly.
"I want to let you go." The leader looked around, adding, "But you attacked so many of my friends." The man acted like he was really thinking about it before he said, "How about it? You take one, two, three…"
He counted the fallen knight on the ground, adding, "Fifteen attacks from me. If you survive, you are free to go."
Thyra took a deep breath, knowing it was the best offer she could receive. She knew that the outcome would not change even if Rika and others came.
At most, she might be able to escape, but the others will die. Even then, it wasn't confirmed.
She thought it might be the end of her life. Thyra looked around and said, "Fourteen."
"Huh!"
"You can attack fourteen times. You killed the last one." Thyra said and vanished from the position with a bang.
