"Leilaaaa" screamed Noe as Leila ran laughing holding a giant multicoloured cotton candy which looked really appealing.
"You should have bought one Leila!! Give mine backkk..." Wined Noe.
"I didn't feel like eating it then, but I do now and you were not even giving me a bite" retorted Leila in between laughter and panting,
"I'll have two mouthfuls and I'll give it back and you can have all for yourself Noe" said Leila.
"Okeyyyy finee!! Only two bites" huffed Noe.
They were at a funfair that was organised at their locality.
Noe and Leila clasped their hand and made their way to the giant Ferris wheel.
It was a nice evening for both of them mainly for Leila since she was always busy with her college works and her partime job.It was a nice break for her.
First Leila didn't want to come to the fair since she had a project that needs to be submitted the next day. But Noe forced her into coming.
Leila wore a casual demin wide leg jeans with a basic white crop top and she accessorised with a multilayered chain.
She had no makeup on and omy had a glossy lip, she tied her hair a ponytail. She looked soo radiant with her side bangs caressing her face.
Noe also wore the same outfit as Leila but she wore a cropped cardigan and she left her short jaw length hair open.
Both of them looked soo adorable.
They were paying for the tickets to enjoy their ride when they heard a loud high piched laughter which almost stunned them.
Turning back they saw the one person that they didnt like seeing on this wonderful day, "Caroline?! Why is she here?"said Noe.
"Doesn't she think that these kind of places are ment for only poor people" questioned Noe.
"I don't know Noe, it's fine why do we need to care what she does here? Come one let's enjoy the Ferris wheel" said Leila pulling Noe's hand.
"Leila wait!! Who's the guy with her? She is all over him." Said Noe.
Both Leila and Noe looked at the unfamiliar guy, he was tall could be almost 6.2, blond wavy hair, amber eyes, he had a muscular built that was clearly visible through his t-shirt.
"Leila omg he is soo hot!! He is very similar to my imaginary boyfriend" said Noe drooling over the blond guy.
"Come on Noe" Leila said and tried pulling Noe's hand again with no use.
"I've never seen him Leila, I know everyone that Caroline hangs out with, thanks to me being invited to all the parties and get-togethers organised by Mr.Wilson" " He seems to this place also, I've never seen him around" said Noe.
Noe is like an information bank, she knows everything about everyone. She know all the details about all the residents in their locality. You just say her a name and their information will be given to you.
"Adam! god you're sooo funny.." they her Caroline saying with her annoying voice.
"Adam... hmm intersting"said Noe
"Hahaha, well my girl has found her next target and maybe a crush" said Leila smirking.
Noe also looked at Leila and smiles unable to hold back.
But this didn't last long..
"Ooh what are you people doing here?" They were spotted by Caroline.
"Don't you have college works and job to work, nerd? Said Caroline looking at Leila
"And don't you also have a job?" She said while looking at Noe with a disgusting face.
"Yes we do, but it's none of your business where we want to be Caroline" retorted Noe.
"Yea whatever, move aside me and my friend need to go onto the Ferris wheel." Said Caroline.
And she pushed Noe and Leila while dragging Adam. But Adam didn't move which made Caroline stop.
"What happened Adam?"
"Don't you want to introduce me to them?" Said Adam.
"Adam you don't need to know them, they are not important"
But Adam ignored this,
"Hi I'm Adam, nice to meet you" said Adam and forwarded his hand to shake with Noe's and Leilas.
" Hello Adam, I'm Noe" answered Noe by shaking his hand
"And I'm Leila, nice to meet you"
"We've never seen you from around here" said Leila
"Yes I'm from sicily, I moved here recently to oversee a business proposal with Caroline's dad" said Adam.
Leila could see that Noe was full on drooling at Adam and she very well knew that Noe cannot talk when she's nervous.
"Yea yea Leila, stop talking, he's very important and has no time to talk to you, my friend has accepted to come here only because of me" said Caroline inching towards Leila.
Leila couldn't help but wonder how stupid Caroline was, Adam looked like he had all the time in the world and genuinely want to have a conversation with them.
"It's fine Caroline, no need to be rude, anyways see you again Leila and Noe" said Adam looking at Leila then at Noe and they both held the stare for a while before he turned and walked towards the wheel with caroline.
Noe has become as red as a tomato by now.
" Omgggg girll you're seriously scaring me, this is the first time you were not able to speak to a guy" said Leila in wonder.
"Guess he put some spell on you" joked Leila.
"Heyy there's nothing like that" huffed Noe.
"He seems nice I don't know how he's hanging out with Caroline, I mean mainly handelling her" said Noe.
"Anyways, come on we have to go on all the games before I go back home, we have very little time Noe" said Leila and pulled Noe to the Ferris wheel.
They enjoyed the ride, Leila freaked out a little since she is afraid of heights but Noe held her hand which made Leila less afraid.
They went to all the food stalls and explored all the varieties of dishes.
They were playing games, when Leila wanted to use the wash room due to a number of drinks and juices she had throughout the evening.
"Noe stay here I'll be right back, need to use the restroom" said Leila and she walked off in search of a restroom.
She continued walking and she reached a the parking area and she felt someone following her, but when she turned back she couldn't see anyone.
And she saw a gang of guys in her way, few of them looked like they were of her age and others looked way older.
But she ignored them and continued walking faster.
But unfortunately she her them catcalling her
"Hey baby why don't you come here? Daddy's got something for you" she heard of them saying.
She felt irritated but continued walking. And soon enough she reached the restroom.
She did her business and washed her hands then her face.
She applied her lip balm since her lips got chapped due to all that she was eating and drinking.
She then excited the restroom hoping that she wouldn't have to see those guys.
But as soon as she started walking out, her mouth was closed by someone's hands and her hands were taken in a tight grip.
Then she her the same voice "you should have come when i called you bitch" and she was dragged and was surrounded by the same men.
She started panicking and tried pushing one of them to run away but there was no chance.
Tears started forming in her eyes as she looked around but all she could see were the smirking faces of the disgusting men.
"Give us something and we'll let you go sweetheart" said one of the older looking guys.
She was not able to speak anything as she was petrified, but she managed to unclasp her chain with her shaking hand and forwarded it " this is all I have, please let me go"
"Shut up bitch! We don't want this We want something else" said one of the others and forwarded his hand and carrassed her cheeks.
She pushed his hand with great force, which angered the man and he caught her hair.
"Be a good little girl and come with us or not the consequences will not be good " he said with a threating tone.
She tried hard to release her hair from his grip.
But she couldn't because he was way stronger than her.
Tears were streaming down her cheeks.
She wished she had her phone so she could call Noe and the police.
But as bad luck be it she gave her handbag to Noe which contained her phone before going to the restroom.
Suddenly she felt the man touching her waist and his hand sliding up, she pushed the hand off.
This triggered him and he slapped her hard. She just didn't know what to do. Her whole being went numb. And pain shot up.
Her instincts kicked in and before her could grab her hair again, she kicked his middle region and pushed him aside and ran off before the other men could catch her.
But they were on her tail.
She ran as fast as she could looking back and trying not to get caught.
But suddenly she felt down hitting something hard and when she looked up panting she saw a tall and a huge man standing in front of her who was already looking at her. He had piercing green eyes and cold expression and was very muscular and bulky.
She got up and mustering all her energy she uttered while stammering " ple-please
help m- me sir, there are f-few men cha-chasing m- me."
He didn't even utter a single word but just stared at her which made her even more seriously uncomfortable.
Soon the men catched up
" Stop running away, we are not planning on letting you escape, no one can help you today" screamed one of them.
Soon she heard a chilling voice dripping with anger
"Leave" said the man in front of her his gaze was fierce and she was not even able to maintain eye contact with him.
She nodded and she ran so fastly but not before hearing some bones craking and screams from the men who harassed her.
She ran and ran until she spotted Noe.
"Leila what took you so lon...
Omg Leila what happened to you what his that hand mark on your face? Why is your hair disheveled? What happened?" Noe asked anxiously.
And she hugged Leila who was full on having a breakdown and tried comforting her.
"I was ha- h- harrsed by so-some guys when co-c-coming back fr-from the r-rr-rest-room" said Leila stammering and hiccuping a little.And she told Noe everything that happened
That was enough to enrage Noe, she immediately called the cops and explained the situation.
"Noe and there was a guy who saved me, he fought those men after asking me to run away" said Leila.
It was a distressing situation since Leila was a pampered child and she didn't face any problems till now, she had always maintained her distance from men.
But being harrased all of sudden by a group of men made her very overwhelmed.
They were then joined by Adam
" Are you fine? What happened is everything all right?" Asked Adam.
"No Adam" responded Noe rubbing Leilas back.
And she told him everything that Leila told her.
He was also enraged and said " I'm caling the cops"
"I already did it" said Noe.
"Right where did it happed? tell me so I can go there and try holding them until the cops reach here" said Adam.
"It was at parking lot" said Noe.
"Let m- me c-come (hiccup) t-ttoo" said Leila.
"No Leila,you stay here, we are not going anywhere, look at your state, I don't want you to look at those disgusting awful men again" said Noe.
"Noe, I-I have to th-thank that man who hh-helped me, if he didn't hold them o-off, i- i wo-uldn't hav-e been h-he-here" said Leila.
"No Leila you can thank him later, i cant let you go there in this situation"
"N-Noe, but I-I need to thank hi-m." Said Leila.
"It's fine Noe she can come this time we both are present with his and i assure you that I will let nothing harm you" said Adam reassuringly.
They slowy made their way to the parking lot and were soon met by the police who arrived,
"Ms. Harris are you all right?" Asked the policemen, they all knew her because of her father.
And she nodded in response.
They all made their way to the spot where this commotion happened but everyone were shocked by the view in front of them.
It was gruesome, the men in front of them were lying in a pool of blood few dead and few unconscious.
For few blood splattered from their shattered jaws and from their stomach where they wer shot and most had their hands broken and few were shot in their head.
It was a very terrifying scene to look at, mainly for Leila and Noe, they were stunned.
Leila blacked out not being able to take in everything that has happened to her in a span of few minutes.
They were all left stunned by the view in front of them.
It was really tramuatizing.
The evening went from being one of the happiest to one of the most horrifying evening of their lives.
