Chapter 66 - Don't you recognize me?

A chilling voice echoed!

Then, accompanied by eerie cat cries, countless dark cat shadows appeared on the walls and ceiling around. 

These cat shadows seemed to have been abused, hanging vertically, tied up in a bundle, or having bodies that were incomplete. The only thing they had in common were their eyes, red and full of hatred, fixed on Alexander.

The heartbreaking cat cries came in waves. The process of returning was interrupted. Alexander's head felt as if it was about to burst. The ghostly neighbors around him showed signs of distress as well.

Step by step, a thin man in a long robe came down from the stairs. On the man's shoulder was a black cat. This cat looked even more miserable. 

It was missing an eye, both its ears seemed to have been cut off, and its body was covered in scars. The remaining eye, cold as a wolf's, stared at Alexander's neck.
