Chapter 4 - Rewarded

"Mis...mis..."

The delinquent ghost hurriedly closed his mouth to explain, but it was too late.

Before the words "misunderstanding" could leave his mouth, the top student ghost suddenly swung his arm.

That seemingly slender arm instantly turned into a skeletal ghost claw, and in the next moment, the delinquent ghost was blasted away, smashing through the glass and crashing into the wall on the other side.

He was flattened, blood spattered all over the floor, and the black mist was slow to recover.

It was a good thing he was a ghost, or else, if he were a human, he would have turned into a liquid by now.

The top student ghost retracted his ghost claw, pushed up his glasses, and continued studying.

The number above his head changed from +1 to +5.

Hey!

Could reporting increase favorability?

Alexander felt like he had discovered a new world!

The other chosen ones in the classroom were dumbstruck.

Who would have thought there could be such a trick?

This was too incredible!

"Smash!"

As Alexander marveled, the student ghost sitting in front of him suddenly turned around and stared fiercely at Alexander, saying:

"How dare you set my little brother, Lei Hu, up!"

Alexander was startled and instinctively looked at the top student ghost.

"Calling him won't help, this bookworm, others may be afraid of him, but I, Lei Long, am not!" The student ghost in front, Lei Long, said coldly.

The chosen ones instantly broke into a cold sweat for Alexander again, even those who had previously gloated were no exception.

It was too miserable, too unlucky, so unlucky that they couldn't even bring themselves to gloat.

They had just gotten rid of one ghost, only to find out that his brother was right in front of them.

Lei Long, Lei Hu, they were real brothers.

What was even worse was that Lei Long seemed to be much more powerful. Although he glanced at the top student ghost with caution when he spoke, he wasn't as fearful as the others.

And the negative number above his head kept increasing, his pupils gradually turning blood-red, and blood vessels slowly squeezing out from his skin, like a bright red spider web.

Now it was over. They were not afraid of the top student ghost, and even if they were wary of the top student ghost, killing this inconsiderate fellow would still be no problem.

The chosen ones sighed secretly in their hearts.

Alexander also felt a strong sense of impending doom.

He had messed with the younger one...and set up the younger one, and now the older one was here.

Isn't this the plot of an invigorating novel? Even in your creepy, ghostly world, you've learned this trick?

Will there be a ghost grandfather later?

Alexander couldn't help but grumble in his mind, but he didn't hesitate at all.

He didn't want to be eaten. Even though he couldn't win, he had just made a surprising little discovery.

At that moment, Alexander raised his hand abruptly:

"Teacher, Lei Long is disturbing my deskmate and me from studying!"

The teacher, who was flipping through the assignments, raised her head, blood dripping from the corner of her mouth, and looked at Lei Long with her beautiful eyes.

Lei Long was stunned, glaring at Alexander:

"When did you start studying?"

You were busy setting me up and just happened to hand in an assignment. What did you learn?

Deception practice? You're really good at this!

Alexander didn't care about these things. He sat up straight, his left palm flat on the table, his right elbow resting on the front part of the table at the tips of his left fingers, and the upper half of his right arm and palm raised vertically.

In the most standard posture, he said:

"Teacher, he's disturbing our studies right in front of you! Look, my deskmate can't even concentrate on the problems anymore!"

Lei Long glanced at the top student and sure enough, during a math class, the top student was working on a chemistry problem from who knows where.

Damn!

His writing was so fluent, there was no sign of being disturbed.

Lei Long went crazy, a torrent of ghostly energy spewing out like a fire extinguisher, obviously intending to fight Alexander to the death.

"Student, disturbing your deskmate is not good behavior!"

The teacher's beautiful face revealed a sweet and gentle smile.

It was as if she was a patient and beautiful music teacher from elementary school or a kind and pretty aunt from kindergarten.

Of course, if she wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, she would look even more like one.

The surging ghostly energy came to an abrupt halt, and Lei Long stiffly turned around.

"Let me think, what should I punish you with? Never mind, I'll just throw a chalk head as a small warning!"

The teacher continued to smile gently, brilliantly sweet.

Bang!

The next moment, a piece of chalk shot out like a bullet.

Boom!

Lei Long's entire head exploded, and suddenly it rained in half of the classroom.

Everyone was dumbfounded!

Not only the chosen ones but even the ghost students were stunned. Even those who were drenched in the rain had a dazed look on their faces, not bothering to wipe themselves clean.

The chosen ones were scared, but if they had such a teacher in their childhood, wouldn't they all be Harvard material?

Provided they survive, of course.

As for the ghost students, their scalps tingled one by one.

Amazing!

Alexander was too amazing!

His brilliance made several ghosts in the back row want to cut off their heads to help boost the show.

No one expected Alexander to use the ultimate killer move that terrified everyone from kindergarten to middle school students—telling the teacher!

Although it wasn't calling parents, it wasn't far off.

This divine operation...

It was so amazing that everyone, no, everyone and all the ghosts, had tingling scalps.

Alexander, however, remained calm. He was well prepared, not only covering himself with his school uniform jacket but also covering his deskmate.

The headless ghost corpse recovered slower than its younger brother outside, and it seemed that it might not grow a head for a whole day.

Alexander grabbed the corpse and threw it out of the window with great force, then nodded in satisfaction:

"That's right, a ghost family should die neat and tidy!"

Wasn't Alexander afraid?

Of course, he was afraid, but after experiencing countless videos in this world and being well prepared, his endurance was naturally strong.

More importantly, the numbers above the female teacher and the top student ghost's heads changed!

The female teacher's number changed from 0 to +2.

What was even more terrifying was the top student ghost. It was unknown whether it was because he had set up a ghost who dared not give him face or because he had blocked the falling blood rain himself.

According to Alexander's consideration, it was the latter. In any case, this time, the favorability above the top student ghost's head directly became 15.

A whole 10 points added!

"Thank you!"

A miraculous scene appeared: the top student ghost, who had been silent from the beginning and hadn't even looked up when throwing Lei Hu out, actually raised his head and said thank you to Alexander.

"No need to thank me! I was just afraid of getting our textbooks dirty. Study comes first, helping you block it was just a side thing!" Alexander said with a faint smile.

Being the Earth's top sales trainer and the Blue Star's social prince wasn't just for show; Alexander naturally knew what to say to whom, cater to their preferences, and indirect persuasion was always more acceptable than straightforward flattery.

Sure enough, the number above the top student ghost's head changed again:

+20

Amid the admiring and worshipful or horrified gazes of everyone and every ghost, Alexander, disregarding the blood-soaked jacket, sat back in his seat.

"If I were you, I'd take advantage of that kid's absence to search his desk hole!" The voice of the top student ghost reached Alexander's ear. Alexander turned his head abruptly, and the top student ghost was also lowering his head to do the problems, as if everything just now had been an illusion.

Was this the effect of favorability?

A smile appeared at the corner of Alexander's mouth, and without hesitation, he reached into the desk hole next to him to search.

As soon as his hand entered the desk hole, Alexander felt the sharp edge of a blade.
