Alexander turned off the computer, got up, and walked out.
"Isabella?"
As he opened the door, Alexander saw a graceful figure standing across from him.
Upon hearing Alexander's voice, Isabella hastily wiped the corner of her eye and turned around with a smile, "Alexander, where have you been? I just knocked on your door and there was no response."
Even though Isabella was trying to hide it, Alexander was sharp enough to notice. Had she been crying just now?
Alexander paused slightly, but seeing no trace of moisture on Isabella's hand, nor any signs of swollen red eyes, he dismissed his suspicions.
Perhaps it was just a case of dry eyes.
Alexander said,"I've just returned from a trip not long ago, I was about to go upstairs to play with Vincent!"
"Are you still sleepy?"
