Around 200 years ago, a great disaster cursed the Kingdom of Inveria leaving not a single lifeform to escape from their painful death. Except a single person who survived that disaster and lived to tell the tale.
Keno Fasris Invern, the only princess of the magical country lost her family, friends, country and her faith over the gods she once worshipped. The last Rainbow Eye lived with that nightmare for centuries.
But there's always a silver lining in the dark clouds and that silver lining came in the form of leader of 13 heroes. And fro there, she made new friends and compromised with her new life. She completed her 26 decades in magical research, studying, defeating the Evil gods and exploring the world. Her unlife was going fine until the said heroes started to leave. Their adventures came to an end as they killed their final Evil God.
From there, she isolated herself from the rest of the world for pure magical research. Until one of her friend came with a request and a bet. And she was not thrilled to hear her request. So she chose the bet and lost.
That was the greatest blow on her pride as a magic caster. And finally, she accepted the request to join the adventurer team, Blue Rose.
The members of Blue Rose were all girls. They were strong , if not stronger than her. As time passed, she felt the closeness between them and herself. Even though , one day they would all die except her, she would protect the legacy of Blue Rose.
Until she met them.
The Demon Emperor.
And the Sorcerer King.
These two just came without warning and started to obliterate everything in their path.
But just the very idea that the latter was still fine and conquering the entire world, was very frustrating for her.
She and her friends managed to escape from the fall of Re Estize Kingdom over 10 decades ago, but her current condition was worse than before.
"[Lesser Mana Accumulation]"
Evileye casted her 3rd tier spell to accumulate mana from her surroundings.
Her current enemy didn't show any signs of exhaustion. The very same demon maid whom she had once defeated in combat, was now winning against her. Compared to last time, her [Vermin Bane] was not doing well against her. It's like the maid resisted the spell with no issue.
"Not good. This is not good."
Evileye whispered to herself.
Her friends were dead. Her means of escape ,[Teleportation], was blocked by [Dimensional Lock].
Surrender was useless when your enemy was aiming for your death.
"Tch, my routes are completely closed."
Another barrage of bug bullets came towards her and without wasting any time she used [Dimensional Move] again.
But it was a wrong move because Entoma was clearly waiting for this.
"[Dimensional Spider Web]"
Entoma used her talisman and a number invisible webs shot at Evileye.
These webs could stop the space itself. When the target was using space itself for movement instead of teleport, the effectivity of the talisman would vecome 100%. Catching Evileye was the easiest thing for these webs. And they caught her.
Entoma stopped her bug machine gun and chuckled.
"Fufufu, I finally caught you little piece of shit. I hope you remembered my name. "
Enoma asked her with a mocking tone. Her inner anger was getting down. The defeated form of Evileye looked too pleasing that she forgot about her anger for a moment. While shaking her mind , Entoma walked towards her with glee. Much to her surprise, her enemy still had guts to speak.
"You think that you won..."
Evileye spoke in low tone , there was no sign of fear and Entoma felt this quite disturbing.
"...but your end will soon come at you. Not even your Sorcerer King will survive."
She finished her sentence with a warning tone. This was something that stopped Entoma's steps and left her into contemplation.
Had Evileye finally gone insane ? Had she created some trap for her ? And many questions went through Entoma's bughead.
She remembered the time when her great master taught her about PK and PKK tactics.
He taught her about enemy bluffing, secret traps and other means of potential dangers when facing the unknown.
Entoma remembered each of his word like they were sacred commands of the Supreme Being. And so her confusion dissipated as she finally understood the meaning behind the strange behaviour of Evileye.
' So that's how it is. She has some secret weapon to harm me. I must choose my options more clearly now. I don't want another defeat. Even a tactical retreat is a best option here.'
Entoma racked her bughead to come with a proper plan. She thought what his master would do in this situation. And suddenly an idea popped.
"Wh-What do you mean by that ?"
Entoma asked with fake anger and fear. She came up with this tactic to take out as much knowledge as she could. His master had taught her about how to persuade her enemy into thinking that they had an upper hand. Her words were bait that she threw for a reaction and it worked.
"He is someone that can end your master's reign with a swift move. His moves are above anything that you lot have no way to survive. "
Evileye's confident was leaking in such a way that even made Entoma to wary her.
"Who is this person ?"
Entoma could not hide her interest like her eldest sister. If she found this person on her own then her master would be very happy. And to hear the praises of his master were the best presents ever.
"Hmph. He is none other than the best swordsman of the world. He is Lord MOMON ! The greatest hero of mankind ! The savior of all ! He is ..."
And so Evileye ranted, err, chanted his beloved hero's name like he would just come there to help her again. But there was one person who didn't feel any thrill like Evileye. And that person was...
...Entoma.
Many emotions went through her like shock, surprise, shame, anger and relief.
Shock, because it was her master's adventurer name.
Surprise, because Evileye still remembered his name.
Shame that her acting was for nothing.
Anger that she felt towards Evileye. To spent her precious time for this.
Relief that there was no hurdle for his master anymore.
At the end, Entoma just wanted to finish Evileye with everything she got. But Evileye had also wasted her time and made her feel ashamed. A small revenge would be enough dose. She came up with a new plan to take her revenge. Lord Demiurge had taught her about it.
Entoma's gaze directed towards Evileye who was still chanting her master's alter ego name. And then she dropped the bombshell.
"Momon is dead."
"He is the most wonde- Huh ?!"
For a second, Evileye thought that she misheard something. And stopped herself from talking. Feeling the attention of Evileye on her again, Entoma spoke again with a slight explanation.
"Momon is dead. His legend is now only good for inspiring other adventurers. My master has given him the same treatment like the Warrior Captain of that stupid Kingdom..."
Entoma kept talking about how his master saw no need of him. Like how he was just there to maintain peace and order. And after people started to believe him, they found Momon's existence an eyesore and she added many things...
...but Evileye didn't hear any of it. Her mind went blank. Her mind had become a silent lake where the turbulent emotions were waiting to come out but slowly suppressed by her racial suppressor. And this time she let her undead side to suppress them. She could not even comment on Entoma's chuckles. When she found that her friends were dying, she still believed that his savior would live. She couldn't believe that her hero would die like a normal human. But the reality hit hard and at the end of the day, Momon was a human, ... the strongest human she had ever met. She chose to stay silent and mourn over his death. This was all she could do now. Her enemy had won. The Sorcerer King had won. There was no point of fighting against such an unstoppable being.
"Atleast you have given me quite a loot. Lord Ainz will be happy to see these items."
And those words broke the mental silence. Normally, a person who was mourning, would not hear the other person or whatever happening in he background. But here, the case was special because Evileye herself was a True Vampire. An advanced variant of vampire subspecies.
And Entoma's words just rekindled her dying emotions.
"No, you won't touch them! You will never have them!"
Two centuries ago, Evileye survived the Wild Magic spell through her Talent which could copy any spell even from entirely different system. But she could not copy anymore spell until the stored spell expelled out of her.
But now she wanted to expel that terrible spell. The spell that turned her into an immortal monster who just watched the deaths of her dying friends and her beloved hero. It was not to kill Entoma but to protect the last remnants of her friends.
' You dare not touch them.'
Evileye warned in an otherworldly tone. Like this was the voice of millions of different beings who spoke together. The souls of her people transformed into a blazing aura of energy that engulfed every item of her dead friends except the WCIs.
The primordial magic of dragon lords showed its miracle once again. Instead of bringing the items from the digital reality, the spell send the selected items from one physical reality to another physical reality along with the caster.
And within a moment, they vanished , only leaving the dumbfounded Entoma to only scream in anger.
" Nooooo!!!"
The sound of flowing water filled her ears. Cool and fresh air blew over her sleeping body in the middle of a grassland. A blonde girl slept soundly there. Her clothes showed the proofs of a life threatening battle that could leave any person into a fatal situation.
Until a squirrel went to touch her...
"Ughhh... my head hurts..."
She spoke like she was in great pain. But there was neither the sign of major injury nor minor injury. Yet her face seemed in a great pain.
She moved her body around like she was on a bed. A bed of soft green grass...
She rose herself and yawned like she awoke after hundreds of years.
She shooked her head, hands and torso to loosen her muscles and bones. After few minutes of stretching, she finally came to her senses and looked around.
Everything looked so peaceful and the lack of danger put her mind at ease. Until a question ran through her mind.
"Where am l ?"
A simple question came out of her mouth and slowly many questions filled her mind. Until a memory of her previous battle flashed through her brain. Her body jolted upright and she took a battle stance. Her stance showed her centuries of experience. Her senses noted every movement with maximum precision. For few minutes, she didn't broke her stance but her sixth sense didn't tell her any possible danger. Everything was clear. She slowly broke her stance and sighed in relief.
"It seems that I am saved."
But that didn't stop her from letting her guards down. She checked her body to find any potential injury but found none. She stared around her and found many items scattered there. At first, she was confused by all this. She had clearly put these items on her friends resting place in her Kingdom Inveria...
...and fought against Entoma. Her memories were now completely clear and she remembered that she accidentally casted the Wild Magic spell.
A chill ran through her spine when the warnings of Tsaindorcus Vaision went into her brain. The warnings about how the Wild Magic spell could potentially kill the user. Yet she felt fine.
"It seems that I survived the spell. Thank goodness."
She put her hands on her chest and sighed again like she passed the toughest battle of her life. But the series of surprises didn't there.
At that moment, she felt the warmth of her body, the heartbeat of her body and movement of her lungs breathing in and out. She felt it quit strange. Suddenly, an idea popped in her head and chose the spell to check if her assumptions were right or not.
She casted the 3rd tier spell.
"[Create Lesser Item]".
This spell could create any non-magical item as per caster's desires.
An ornate mirror with golden edges came into existence. She held the mirror into her hands. She watched into the mirror and instead of crimson eyes of a vampire, her eyes were Rainbow...
