David drove to the hospital. He badly wanted to see how Vanessa was doing. Seeing her sprawle d on the floor unconscious almost killed him. He parked at the entrance to the hospital. He knew there was no risk of him meeting Joanna. She was not supposed to resume until a week later. He would see how Vanessa was doing and then move her to another hospital.
He walked up to the reception. "A lady was brought here in an ambulance...".
"A minute please". The lady behind the desk said as she consulted a computer. "Miss Vanessa right?"
"Yes".
"Go up to the 5th floor, room 23".
"Thanks". David nodded curtly and walked up to the elevator.
