Joanna let the tears fall as she walked out of the Café. She stood at the entrance not knowing what to do. David had hurt her feelings and she couldn't understand why she was crying about it. They were not in love, but why does it hurt seeing David laughing with another woman instead of her?
She wiped her tears as she stood awkwardly. She knew she didn't bring any money with her when they came to the cafe in David's car and she thought they would be spending time together but now, she was stranded.
Joanna brought out her phone and made a call. She needed someone to pick her up and she knew Charlotte was at the hospital. She hated herself for letting David sweet-talk her into doing things. He has hurt her more since their marriage but it was enough and she won't let him get to her.
