Kristel sauntered around the small village under the bright daylight just to breathe some fresh air, as she walks on a stone pavement, she saw Casterwill at the village square sitting on a wooden bench under the oak tree, lush green leaves produces shade beneath the tree. He is eating an apple while appreciating the silence of the place.
Kristel approaches Casterwill and took a seat next to him, Casterwill budge aside to give a portion of space on the bench. Casterwill shared the apple he was eating to Kristel, only half of the apple was left because he had already eaten the other half of it. Kristel accepted the apple and ate the remaining half.
Silence enveloped them both, savoring the serenity in the village. Birds are singing, wind blows chime the leaves of the oak tree, children playing with a wooden stick that serves as a sword, villagers laughing in their conversation and a blue vast sky above the village. This is what life should be.
Kristel broke the silence as she spoke to Casterwill. "Hey Cast."
"Yes?" Casterwill replied quizzically while staring at the sky.
Kristel looked at Casterwill who was staring at the sky and asked: "Do you love me?". Smiling waiting for his response even though she knew what he would answer.
Casterwill glanced at Kristel with a dubious reaction. "D-depends on the s-situation."
"Huh?" Kristel suddenly glared at Casterwill with sharp eyes, accompanied by a scowl look.
"If your love favors my situation, then Yes. But if it causes me trouble, then No," Casterwill explained his reason with high morale.
"Cast, you're truly a scumbag," Kristel said with a pout face and took her eyes off him.
"Nothing to brag about," Casterwill sniggered as he replies.
"You're proud of it? Hmpf!" Kristel gazed at Casterwill again with a smug face, looking like she's disappointed in him.
Kristel slowly leans her head on the shoulder of Casterwill, with a soothing atmosphere surrounding the entire village, she fell asleep.
