"W-what did you say…?"
"Professor, we might have misheard!"
Isaac tilted his head to the side.
"Misheard what?"
"What will you be teaching us again?"
The professor that was here to show him the ground though was not as patient as the others, she shot to her feet and scowled at Isaac.
"Professor Isaac, is this a joke of some… sort…"
She remembered the event from just moments ago and cooled down herself, though. Even though Isaac had done nothing to remind her, she had just done so.
Recency bias was strong in humans. The rules of perspective painting worked the same in the human mind and heart as they did on a canvas. The further an object was the smaller it seemed.
The shock of the declaration was just that big that what happened before was pushed far far back. Unfortunately, though, the size of that event was so enormous that even if it was kicked over to a different continent it would still be just as easily visible.
