Ella, Louisa's mother brought a box of colorful threads and needles into Louisa's room to entertain Louisa who might be bored.
"Mommy brought what?" asked Louisa who kept paying attention to what objects were in the box her mother was hugging.
"Something that might relieve your boredom."
"What's that?" Louisa had never seen anything like it.
Naturally, she didn't know anything because her mother would teach her a hand skill that women had to learn in ancient times.
"In the past, mommy was not allowed by your daddy to work and your grandmother gave this, 'embroidered' that's called," Ella said.
Louisa laughed, she wasn't good at making any crafts. She is also not an art person who can draw and imagine something.
"Yes, I also laughed when your grandmother gave it to me but it turned out to be fun. If you want to learn, everything is on the internet. What pictures do you want and what patterns, especially the colors of these threads make the spirit work."
"Okay, I'll try later and see if I can--" Louisa's words were cut off when a maid knocked on her open bedroom door.
"Excuse me, Miss and Madam have guests downstairs."
"Who?"
"Princess Amora and her mother."
Louisa and Ella looked at each other as if it was rare for Amora and her mother to visit unnecessarily.
"Darling, you have to cover up your pregnancy from Amora because she and her mother will always try to bring you down. I don't matter that you don't marry Harry, but your name must be tarnished by her. She always wants to be superior to you."
"I know Mom, she can't put me down!" Louisa answered.
They came out of the room while talking about what Amora's true ugliness was. The princess always seemed to show good manners in front of everyone but she was originally someone who liked to bully others.
"Hey, Ella, sorry I didn't inform you beforehand when I came here because I want to take you on an excursion," said the woman who is half a century old. Her white hair, short and stiff, was always held by her so that it would not fall apart.
"Sightseeing?" asked Ella while looking at Amora who smiled awkwardly.
"Yeah, we'd like to go on a cruise. There's Harry and his family too. We want Louisa, come on join us," said Amora.
Louisa shook her head, she had imagined that if it was a big wave then she would get drunk badly besides, this pregnancy would be troublesome if she got drunk.
"You don't get bored working all the time, occasionally enjoying our family's fun," Amora said looking at Louisa.
"Family, why should there be Harry?" Louisa asked back to her. Amora grinned awkwardly, she was afraid that Louisa would find out about her trap. Her eyes kept on Louisa's stomach. Meanwhile, Louisa did not blink at her.
"Isn't Harry going to be our family we should get to know each other better, right?" said Amora.
"But I have more important business than having fun without any event," answered Louisa, she is against amora statement.
Amora rolled her eyes, exchanging pleasantries with Louisa required extra energy. Besides dropping self-esteem. She also had to rack her brains to persuade the hardworking princess to come with her.
"Why should there be an event, you're too stiff Louisa. Next week's charity event you have to attend for the sake of getting used to hanging out with people on our equal. And oh yes, your friend asked me if Louisa was still here and I said yes but, why do you say if you have returned to Hawaii? Why do you have to lie?" Amora said, trying to corner Louisa in front of her mother and Ella, to which the two women looked at each other
"Because I don't like parties and sorry, I want to go to my room first because my eyes suddenly get sleepy," answered Louisa then left Amora who was holding back her annoyance with a smiling face. Ella took over the conversation.
She invited Amora and her mother to sit and enjoy the beautiful morning in the garden behind their big and spacious house. While stepping into her room, Louisa clashed with Marshawn who was going down the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Asked Louisa
"Exercise." Answered Marshawn. An idea crossed Louisa's mind.
"Can I come along?" She asked
"Come on," said Marshawn.
Louisa happily entered the room to change. Shortly thereafter she came out wearing only shorts and a baggy T-shirt, and a small sling bag on her body. Marshawn's eyes did not blink at her.
"You forgot where this is?"
"Oh come on, this is better," She said but Marshawn shook his head.
"It's not only you who will be angry but me too. Change into something more polite first or you won't go with me, okay."
Louisa chuckled angrily, she hated being in London because she had to dress modestly and that was not her style. Louisa likes the freedom to dress like a normal young person. Unlike Amora, who always wears a blazer or high-collared shirt and knee-length skirts, hats, and everything luxurious. This time Louisa was wearing trousers and a shirt and boots.
Marshawn gave a thumbs up in agreement and they walked down the stairs together. Her eyes were warily looking here and there, afraid that Amora would find out, who would later be accused of being a liar again. They were engrossed in telling stories the whole way until Louisa realized that what she was thinking was wrong.
"Hey, didn't you say you wanted to practice?"
"Yes, in here, can you use that wand? Ah, I'm annoyed that I keep losing," Marshawn said.
Which made Louisa slap her forehead. She thought she was going to be on the track and she wanted to do something that would make her happy. She had to accompany Marshawn to play golf, which she had never done before.
"I don't know why there is a stupid game like this and unfortunately it's called a sport. What good is it, just hitting that hardball," protested Louisa which made Marshawn chuckle? Both of them changed into proper clothes.
Louisa and Marshawn walked hand in hand, if anyone didn't know them they would have been mistaken for a pair of lovers who looked intimate.
"Marsh!" shouted someone from behind.
Both of them looked at the same time. The man was mesmerized for how many seconds when he saw Louisa. Louisa's friendly and smiling face always fascinates men the first time she sees it. Louisa's tiny lips, which are naturally colored like pomegranates, always make men focus wrong.
"Are you with your lover?" Asked that man.
"My lover, hahaha, she is someone's future wife and it's my job to look after her," Answered Marshawn with Laughs.
"Oh, still a future wife means there is still a chance to get to know each other better," This man said with a mischievous gleam and the tip of his tongue wetting his lower lip.
Louisa laughed while holding out her hand, "Hi, I am Louisa, a mother of one child. Do you want to marry me, who is a widow?"
"Hahaha!"
Marshawn laughed out loud, because of Louisa's behavior which was to the point that made his friend uncomfortable, stroked the back of his neck and said while shaking Louisa's smooth hand.
"Oh, why Marshawn said someone's future wife?" said this man confused about the lies between Louisa and Marshawn.
"You're too trusting, poor thing," Louisa taunted and made this man even more confused.
"Well, if you already to be a widow so I can't help taking care of children yet. I want a sweet marriage to enjoy like dating first because I'm still young." He said.
Louisa pouted at the man's reasoning responsible for this. Louisa walked first leaving the man who was still trying to find out her status. Louisa thought, a man like this only thinks about a beautiful body to enjoy. It would be difficult for Louisa to find a man who would accept her flaws.
