9:08 A.M.

As the ship docked by the harbor, sailors scampered off the ship in a hurry. They carried crates and large boxes on their back as they went, shouting for those on their way to move.

Dressed in layers and layers of fur coats and thick wool sweaters, Ines hobbled down the steps like a limping donkey.

"Sir, was this really necessary?" She mumbled. Her small face no bigger than a noble lady's palm was pinched into a permanent frown, and tension rested between her eyebrows.

"What is?" The Archduke peered down at Ines and let out roaring laughter at the sight of her expression. "Good Heavens!"

Donned in all those coats, she was rounder than an ostrich's egg and stumbled around like a baby chick.

He repeatedly patted her head in a show of affection, nearly shoving her down the steps with his great strength.
