Ines stood in a field of white. Everything around her was white, even the floor and sky. For as far as she could see, there was no end either.
"Where am I?" Ines mumbled, confused.
Just a moment ago, she was in bed and drifting off to sleep. If that's the case, then… was she dreaming?
Pinching her palm, Ines exerted just a tad bit of strength and recoiled at the "all-too-real-pain" that struck back, proving her guess to be false.
"Phew," She exhaled, flicking her hand, "If this isn't a dream, then where am I?"
Unlike all her previous dreams where she would hold absolutely no memories of after waking up, she maintained her consciousness whilst in the dream state.
Curious, she began walking around the void that was the white space.
For a period of time, all she saw was pure white. The sky felt infinite, and the white walls seemed to stretch on for endless miles. But then, Ines saw a silver shard on the ground
"…What is that?"
