Inside of the Ship: The Infirmary Room
Standing by Ines' bedside, the Archduke turned to face the Empyrean who stood by the door.
The Empyrean was donned in pure white robes, bright gold-colored hair, and extraordinarily light gray eyes that appeared almost silver.
On his chest, there was a small silver badge with four platinum stars; it signified his rank as a bishop.
The bishop had a baby face and looked no older than eleven, yet he held a position of great importance that most wouldn't obtain until their twilight years.
Perhaps if they had met in another situation, the Archduke would joke with him, and he'd beckon for the young bishop to visit Bascombe. After all, the Archduke greatly admired those with talent.
But, in such a lamentable environment, he could only sigh.
The Archduke languished, "Your Grace, why hasn't she woken up? It's been nearly two days since the incident occurred, has her psyche been damaged?"
