Alisha's room in the Youth Corp members lodge is not that spacial. It just a small room that contents only her bed, few arm less chairs, a reading table, a small war-drop and a small space that serves as a mini kitchen.
The three ladies sat each on her chair, speechless, only staring at each other as if people on a staring contest. None wanted to break the ice, Kiya and Alisha had already wet their bodies with cold sweat because of the being that carries Aliya's resemblance who in real sense is something more powerful than Aliya. Alisha stares at the being even more intensely knowing that she is the one more related to Aliya. Alisha decided that the silence was not going to help them in anyway so she broke the ice.
[Alisha clears her throat] "So you are not my Mother or?" she asked the being.
[Calmly] "I am Arkhaviya" she answered.
"What for goodness sake does that name mean?" Alisha asked.
"From out of my dreams" Arkhaviya replied.
[Kiya chuckles] "Oh wow.. you came out of your own dreams?"
"She gave me the name and I loved it because it made sense" Arkhaviya answered looking directly at Alisha.
[Amazed] "Huh? I gave you the name? How.. and when?" Alisha asked.
"After you created me or well, my new body and if I tell you when, you won't believe it"
[Alisha Smirks] "Try me and see"
[Arkhaviya sighs softly] "Well then, I met you in the year 2049, that was when"
[Kiya laughs] "Haha.. Ok, this is getting crazier"
Alisha felt like the sky was going to break down by the words of Arkhaviya. She knew both of them may not be able to fight or even confront Arkhaviya because of how powerful a being she is and the lower state of Kiya being just a newbie in the whole magic powers stuff but for Arkhaviya to look them directly in the eyes and lie to them was so much disrespect.
[Frowns] "Arkhaviya or whatever your name is, I'v had enough of this conversation please, just go away to wherever you came from." Alisha said.
"I know you are think I lied to you about when I met you but it doesn't matter. What matters is that Horn inside that bag" Arkhaviya said pointing at Kiya's backpack.
[Kiya gasps] "You know about the horn?"
"Yes I do" Arkhaviya answered.
[Alisha sighs] "Well look powerful woman, I don't know who you are but you can not just come here and start posing like my Mom Aliya or even start asking about our horn ok."
"You shallow minded girl.. In the future you are a tech goddess, deep minded and super intelligent but right now.. urgh" Arkhaviya scoffed.
"How much of this horn do you know because I really need someone to tech me how to use it?" Kiya asked Arkhaviya.
[Arkhaviya smiles] "I know just how much I needed to know to be able to help, that why I left my time line to the future and back. I am here to help you carry this burden my dear. Our lives and the entire of Africa and Ayrahku depends on you and that horn. Right now, go home and rest, for tomorrow we start training."
"Yes.. I will do just that and I can't wait for tomorrow and by the way thank you for being here." Kiya responded excitedly. While Alisha remained silent.
Meanwhile in the present day forest of the Gyu hills, inside the large cave which houses the Brahnyi of Ayrahku, the Shaman Chohu was facing a large wall completely in-scripted with runic symbols. Another Man stood at the entrance of the cave speaking passionately to the Shaman who is the Chief priest of the Ayrahku kingdom. The Man seem to be lamenting over something but the Shaman Chohu seem to careless about the man.
[Chohu sighs] "I told you that your issue is not a serious one Zibeh, I was not the one that chose your daughter, the gods did."
"But why? Why will the gods choose my only daughter? She is just a girl, a young teenage girl o" Zibeh lamented.
[Chohu smirks] "Zibeh! Zibeh.. This is the seventh time you said what you just said. It is none of my business whether your daughter is a grown up or not but all I can say is that the gods can not make a mistake, not with a weapon like Ritehkye, not in choosing the new Melimandu."
Zibeh gnashes his teeth, the pains he feels can not be explained with words of mouth. He looked up to the Chief priest and said, "This tradition of yours, this prison you call culture is the exact reason why I left the dimension of Ayrahku to Nigeria. I needed to find peace, I never wanted my family and myself to be a part of all these but still you followed us? Please Chohu the great Brahyonto of our kingdom, help me tell the gods to reverse their choice of the new Melimandu. Let them choose someone more edible, more formidable, more eligible, let them leave my daughter, my Kiya alone."
[Chohu laughs hard] "Oh Zibeh.. you amuse me. How far do you think Nigeria is from Ayrahku and Do you even know the meaning of your daughter's name?"
"I gave her the name, why won't I know the meaning?" Zibeh replied angrily.
"Yish.. You did not give me the answer to my question." Chohu said.
"Ok her name means 'Saviour' " Zibeh answered.
Zibeh's answer made Chohu laughed in disgust, he looked into Zibeh's eyes and continued, "Do you see yourself now? You literally call your daughter 'Saviour' everyday, yet, you don't want her to save anyone? Do you even think you were the one that gave her that name? The gods put it in you to call her that name.. 'Kiya'. Let me tell you for the last time, there are no mistakes in choosing a new Melimandu, Kiya is the new Melimandu of Ayrahku, the defender and protector of us all. Take it or leave it, like it or not, accept or reject.. it all does not matter. Just go home and think of how you will be of service to the new Melimandu."
Few moment later, the Shaman Chohu sat in a pine position as he meditate. His eyes were closed tightly but his ears could hear even the tiniest sounds within and without him. He sat there in the darkness and in the silence worried for nothing safe for the issue he and Zibeh discussed moments ago. He opened his mouth to chant a mantra, "Chu chu hen ka nho" he chanted. He chanted the mantra several times and while he was still chanting he began to perceive a presence, a presence too powerful to withstand. It imposing power weakened the very core of Chohu, so much that his physical body began to shiver in terror. Within split seconds the darkness in the cave began to vanish, the darkness began to give way for the presence more powerful than it, flowers and shrubs began to sprout out from the barren floor and walls of the cave and before Chohu could think of anything the entire cave became a Paradise full of light and gorgeous flowers and shrubs. He opened his eyes to feast on the beauty of the paradise that his cave has become, while he opened his mouth in awe, the imposing presence resurfaced again, this time more menacing. Chohu screamed in terror, "Ahhhhhhhh"; "Brahbe, I called you here, I prayed for your presence now why do you want to kill me?" Chohu asked in a shaky voice.
A powerful voice which the sound of it alone almost ripped Chohu's heart out answered nonchalantly and said, "If I wanted crushing you, I would have done so even before you ever think about it." Chohu sighs heavily and replied, "Your aura almost broke me into debris of my flesh."
"Even after being suppressed millions of times it full energy?" The powerful voice hammered. "How weak can you humans be?"
[Chohu scoffs] "Yish.. You gods easily forget that you are gods and we are only humans and that you are way powerful than us alright."
"gods, gods, gods.. You call me a god, what do you think you are?" the powerful voice asked.
"A human" Chohu answered in a serious tone.
[The powerful voice smirks] "You mean to say gods in flesh I believe."
[In a shaky voice] "Well Brahbe, this is not why I summoned you here, If you can please listen to me." Chohu pleaded.
[Laughs heavily] "Oh so you think I do not know why you called me here? You are mistaken Chohu.. I came here on my own accord to warn you of the drastic mistake you are thinking of making." the voice clarified.
[Chohu gasped] "What mistake are you talking about my Lord?"
"To think that you can help that mortal Zibeh reverse a choice that we the gods have made. You want to be crushed by us?" Powerful voice thundered.
"My apologies my Lord, but Zibeh does not want anything to do with the cultures of Ayrahku that why he left." Chohu said.
[Chuckles] "Did you mean to say ran away?" The powerful voice asked.
"W-well.. Maybe he ran away or not but my Lord that daughter of his, I think she is too young for the mantle of the Melimandu. I heard his Lamentations and I think he got a point. M-Maybe you should look more into this matter my Lord." Chohu pleaded.
The god with the powerful voice remained calm, Chohu's words are true but highly disgustingly puny piety talk, the god then sighs and spoke in his powerful voice, "Zibeh did this to himself. One can not be an Ayrahkan blood and still runaway from Ayrahku. Zibeh is a coward, a runaway warrior, a man who denied his own origin just to escape from a responsibility that was meant for him. A man who preferred to embrace the culture of the outsider than his own culture. Even his young daughter has a stronger heart than him, even she is a greater warrior. She may look weak and feminine, but the soul in her is one of the most powerful soul there ever was. He thought by running that he can hide, but there is no hiding from the gods. We made you, we designed you and we see you from above, to us the entire Terra has no shadow, nowhere to hide. Let this case rest and bring it up never, I.. King Leo of the Leo zodiac realm has spoken."
[Chohu bows] "Reshini (so be it) my Lord"
In the evening that same day, Zibeh sat quietly on a sofa in his sitting room. He was sitting in front of the television but was not even watching because despite his eyes fixed on the screen his mind had already drifted far away. His occupied mind could not process anything, his heart was heavy. Zibeh would sigh and hiss and sigh and hiss and sigh and hiss without being sensitive of Kiya standing right there staring at him. "Dad are you Ok?" Kiya asked. Her question startled him, he sat upright to look at her properly, "Yes I am OK" he answered; "Where have you been" he asked her. "I have been at Alisha's place all day" she answered. "Doing what?" he asked, "Well I went there just to pay her a visit.." she answered.
[Zibeh sighs] "You don't have to lie to me Kiya. I already know about the Horn Ritehkye."
Kiya heart sank.. Zooooop. Her eyes widen in amazement, her blood began to become hot.
"You knew?" She asked her father.
"Yes I knew.. from the moment it came and all the time you have been roaming around with it in that backpack of yours" he replied.
[Kiya sobs] "I don't understand Dad.. How could you possibly know?"
[Zibeh sighs heavily] "There's alot I have hidden from you. You and your mother have no idea who I really am. I ran away from my people because of that white horn, I didn't want to connect my family with any of those magical stuffs, it was like a prison to me. The culture, the tradition and the unstoppable wars always befalling Ayrahku. I was fed up, I was afraid.. so, I had to run away."
"Wow.. Honestly Dad, I don't know what to say" Kiya confessed.
[Zibeh sobs] "You don't have to say anything, what was done was done. I still did not escape, the horn still chose you, and you are my blood. I tried to convince the Shaman Chohu to help me talk to the gods to reverse their choice of you but he sent me away. He said the will of the gods can never be interfered with and so their choice is immutable."
[Kiya sighs] "Hmm, well if you spoke to Chohu today then it means he won the battle between him and the evil man Goonlah.. that cool and for the record, I think I am beginning to like this chosen one stuff. Don't worry about me Dad, alot was revealed to me today by Alisha and her future Mom Arkhaviya"
[Zibeh gasped] "Arkha.. Who?"
"Arkhaviya!" Kiya answered casually.
[Zibeh frowns] "You saw the goddess Arkhaviya?"
"Uh.. You know her?" Kiya asked in a surprise tone.
"Haaa" Zibeh sighed, "I know more than you can ever imagine my Dear."
[Kiya smirks] "Dad it seems you and I got a lot to talk about so I'm going to sit here and listen to everything.. please start talking."
