Chapter 44 - CHAPTER 44 : CHUNIN EXAM FIGHTS

After Hinata's fight. The second battle was between Kankuro and Choji.

The atmosphere in the Chunin Exams arena remained charged as the next match unfolded.

In one corner stood Choji Akimichi, a robust and good-natured ninja from the Hidden Leaf Village.

On the opposite side was Kankuro, a puppeteer from the Hidden Sand Village.

The signal sounded, and the clash began.

Kankuro, with his three puppets at the ready, made the first move.

The puppets advanced with calculated precision, strings controlled by Kankuro's deft hand movements.

Choji, with his keen instincts, expanded his body, preparing for the impending assault.

The puppet strings lashed out, attempting to entangle Choji, but he skillfully evaded with surprising agility.

Choji, deciding to take the initiative, charged toward Kankuro. The puppeteer, unfazed, manipulated his puppets to intercept Choji's advance.

The scene turned into a chaotic dance as Choji dodged, weaved, and countered the puppet onslaught.

Kankuro, relying on his strategic mind, analyzed Choji's movements, searching for weaknesses.

As the battle intensified, Choji activated his partial expansion jutsu, enlarging his limbs for increased strength.

The ground trembled with each step as he closed the distance between himself and Kankuro.

The puppeteer, recognizing the imminent threat, manoeuvred his puppets with increased speed, attempting to create a defensive barrier.

Choji, undeterred, launched a powerful fist toward Kankuro.

The puppeteer swiftly retreated, narrowly avoiding the strike. However, Choji's relentless assault continued, and he managed to land a solid blow on one of the puppets, disabling it temporarily.

Kankuro, adapting to the situation, unleashed a concealed blade from another puppet, aiming for Choji's vulnerable spots.

Choji, relying on his instinct and resilience, endured the blade attacks and countered with a strategic maneuver.

With a swift spin, he created a gust of wind, disorienting Kankuro and providing an opening.

Seizing the opportunity, Choji executed his Human Boulder technique, crashing into Kankuro with tremendous force.

The impact resonated throughout the arena as Kankuro struggled to recover from the powerful blow.

Although no one noticed but Akira could tell that Choji was Using Haki.

There was a smile on Akira's face.

The winner was Choji.

The next fight was between Neji and Gaara.

"Oh that a match to watch". Akira sure was excited about this fight.

From the moment the match began, it was evident that this clash would be one for the ages.

Neji, with his Byakugan activated, carefully analyzed Gaara's movements.

Gaara, in turn, observed Neji with his intense, unblinking eyes, the gourd on his back hinting at the deadly sand that lay within.

Neji, confident in his taijutsu skills and now already have mastered the breathing style, closed the distance between himself and Gaara with unparalleled speed.

Gaara, however, effortlessly evaded Neji's strikes by manipulating the sand to create a defensive shield.

Unfazed, Neji adjusted his strategy. He unleashed a barrage of precise strikes, aiming for the chinks in Gaara's sand armor.

Gaara responded with calculated precision, using the sand to counter each blow.

The battlefield became a spectacle of speed and technique as the two warriors pushed each other to their limits.

As the battle raged on, Neji identified a pattern in Gaara's sand defense.

With a burst of speed, he exploited a momentary opening and landed a series of rapid strikes.

Gaara, surprised by the sudden onslaught, struggled to maintain his defense.

However, just as Neji seemed to gain the upper hand, Gaara's eyes flashed with a hint of malice.

The sand, responding to Gaara's intense emotions, transformed into a colossal tidal wave that surged toward Neji.

The Byakugan-wielding ninja, taken aback by the overwhelming force, tried to evade, but the sand pursued relentlessly.

Gaara's control over the Shukaku's power became apparent as the sand seemed to possess a mind of its own.

Neji, realizing the gravity of the situation, focused his chakra to enhance his defensive manoeuvres.

Despite his efforts, the sand overwhelmed him, trapping him in a cocoon of relentless pressure.

The crowd fell silent as Gaara stood victorious, the sand settling around him.

Akira thought thinking where here too Gaara would be the same bloodthirsty monster but that was not the case.

Well at least not entirely.

Neji was not badly injured and Gaara did not directly kill him.

That was more than enough.
