Frey clenched her arm with a piece of wooden stick in her hand pointing to the old man. She grabs it on when she realizes something is odd about Eduardo. She can't summon any weapon just like any other Reaper did, and she thought that stick can depend on her from a soul she doesn't know if trustable or not.
She began feeling coldness to her spines, and form an iced-like sweat from her neck to shoulders as her system displayed a warning shot on her face.
The stubborn human soul of Frey is indeed trembling in nervousness. She never encounters a murderer in her thirty-one years of existence on Earth. And she never had a second thought that being a Grim Reaper will be the way to it.
Staying calm is Frey's goal as of the very moment, she never let any fear run through her, she needed to bring back the soul to the IRISH Annex.
"I'm asking you, what did you do to them?" Straightforward, she asked him.
The old man didn't even open his lips to explain, his eyes were as before, dark and full of sadness. Eduardo was staring directly at Frey, thinking if the woman can protect herself from the piece of wood she found.
The old soul let out a deep sigh. He bowed his head and shook several times...
"I'm tired, they all don't care about me. My siblings left me to take care of my elderly parents. I couldn't get married, my life has become meaningless." His voice was so weak that his heart was broken with every word he uttered.
"I talked to them to help me, but they turned a deaf ear . . . I also want a family of my own."
Frey's muscles shuddered at the old soul's thrust. When he raised his face, a smile that appeared on him was too wide, he looked like a clown with the tip of his lips drawn in the direction of his ear. But the content of its eyes has not changed at all, it is difficult to confirm what is in the soul's mind.
"D-did you kill them?" Frey stumbled a little.
"I don't know, I don't know." He responded.
"Help me, let's find them, let's talk to them." Eduardo took a step towards Frey, a step that make her shiver. Frey's chest rumbled with the mixture of nervousness and fear she felt.
She can't understand what was happening, Andreus said nothing about the situation of the soul they fetch. He just left her to handle Eduardo, even though there is a different background story behind him.
'Doesn't he know too?'
"Don't come near, I'm telling you, I'll going to beat you with this." Funny, but Frey tried to sound more firm and strong. She pointed more to the stick that she had in her hand. She thought of getting a hard beating for the murdered soul.
"You said you would help me?" Eduardo is desperate to get to his parents, by any means. Even disobeying the Grim Reaper who tried her chance to help him. Being on an act is not as difficult as the old job he has, she deceives the lady reaper in an instant.
He remembers the last day he goes out of this house, his mother and father are already gone. He can't face them, especially her mother, he was so ashamed of what he had done. He couldn't go and bring them home because he was too shy and afraid of himself. So now, at the last moment, he still wanted to see them and ask for forgiveness.
"Yes, I said that, but there's something you're not telling me either. Maybe that's fair quits."
"But I need to talk to them, and you're going to help me make that happen."
Eduardo's voice echoed throughout the house they were in. And in an instant, he grabbed Frey by the neck and then lifted the woman. Frey flailed his leg in the air, struggling against Eduardo's suffocating hands.
"L-let me go!" losing her breath Frey still manage to talk, hardly.
"No, not until you help me." The light Aura of Eduardo simply changes into a dark one, and his physical appearance change as well. He looks pale and his eyes were blackshot.
Frey's confusion grew stronger as Eduardo now transform into a dirty man, his construction uniform coated and soaking into thick blocks of cement. He was like being dumped between cement and sand.
"I need to see my family. . . And after that, I want to surprise my co-workers who send me to this situation."
"W-what are you t-talking about..."
"But for now, I will first deal with you..." Eduardo tightens his fist on Frey's neck. The lady struggles with her breathing, she taps the perpetrator's hand and been signaling to stop his agenda.
"I-if you continue this the d-deities will never grant y-you a second chance to be r-reborn. C'mon l-let's talk c-calmly, I'll help you." Short in air, Frey still manages to negotiate with the soul.
Being a Negotiator is hard especially if you are dealing with Vengeful souls, they will go bargain for more, or if not they will just ignore it and go on to their plans.
But Eduardo seems not satisfied with Frey's words as he gritted his teeth and pushes more power into the fist he's using to kill Frey. He was deciding by himself. . . Revenge was what he wanted from the very first.

On the steep part of the twenty-story building, stood a man as the wind blew his pure black clothes. He listens to the whispers of the wind, looking for the voice of a Vigilante he needs to capture.
The man was a high-level Grim Reaper. Behind its fierce and cold aura hides a gentle face. The man has perfect physical structures, from slimy eyes, a sharp nose, and deceptively red lips. Its eyes didn't contain any light, instead, they radiated a ruthless gaze.
He is the Captain of the Vigilant Escort Team, Cartnage. A millennial reaper with the ability to listen to his environment. They had just finished punishing a Vengeful Spirit who was causing trouble in Central Town Park when he received an emergency call from the IRISH Command Unit. According to this, there is on turning Vengeful Spirit along Norweltong.
That Vigilant Spirit's level was low, that's why he let his team go, he will deal with it alone.
"Got you!" A word that came out of Catnage's mouth before completely disappearing like a bubble from where he was standing.

(Norweltong Subdivision, 5 p.m.)
Cartnage doesn't care about his surroundings while walking. His forehead was raised and frowned. The man was in his human body, wearing a decent black suit with a pair of neckties, pants, and shiny black shoes. He travels around the place to find the soul he is destined to take to the Afterlife after an hour.
In his hand was the card containing the Vigilante's name.
Name: Eduardo Gomez
Date of Birth: September 15, 1972
Date died: April 16, 2023
Cause of death: Heart attack while at work
Sub-reason of death: Being poked by a shovel in construction, his body hid beneath a cement mixture.
"Where are you," Cartnage uttered with a grin on his lips, he was playing with the card in his hand.
"It's okay, I can still sense you. You're just around the corner."
Cartnage focused his ears on the wind oozing, the deep voice of the old soul is lurking through his ears.
". . . I will be dealing with you first. . ." the wind deliver the message to him.
He knew that the soul is doing some unnecessary stuff, and he was on the rock taking the justice he should receive from being treated unfairly.
"What a pathetic soul, you just missed your second chance at life. Now let us meet."
Cartnage, again simply vanished into thin air, he created the swooshing effect when he teleported to the soul's destination. And not just a minute, Cartnage stepped on the dried cracky leaves scattered around an old house. The front door is a total mess. Cartnage smirked as he was greeted with dirt and not-so-good things to see at.
"Y-you should stop this!" Cartnage heard a familiar voice from inside the house. Then a sound from broken things came across the voices.
The Millennial Reaper stretch his arm pointing down to his feet, and a burning sword with a very sharp edge illuminated. The sword comes to be shining and dancing into the fire. It was such a precious thing for the Reaper as it measure how strong they were.
And Cartnage is the second best regarding swords, he was next to King Amadeus's skill.
