Calling the puppet back, the crowd watched in wonder as the puppet headed back to Minos's cave, some wanting to follow after it, but stopping as they remembered their Patriarch's fierce command to not bother Minos.
With the puppet back in the cave, Minos checked a few more things before confirming that his Humanoid V1 was a success.
With success paving the road, Minos got back to work creating a few more Humanoid V1's, deciding to create ten in total.
With this new puppet to assist him, his speed was slightly raised, creating his second Humanoid V1 even faster then the first.
The third was even quicker, and the tenth was the fastest, Minos creating the entire puppet in only an hour's time.
Even then, by the time Minos was finished, the sun had already begun setting, an entire day spent on creating puppets.
While it may seem like he wasted a day, the truth was, with these puppets acting as his limbs, his future operations would be far more efficient.
Storing the puppets at the back of the cave, Minos cleaned up his work station before heading back home, opening the door to find the family waiting for him.
"Dada back!" Rinka said joyously from within Tinka's arms.
"Another day hard at work, huh?" Ronkus said with a satisfied smile.
"Unlike you, just lazing around." Meninka couldn't help but say as she poked Ronkus's bloated stomach.
"Hey, I work hard! Who caught our meal today?" Ronkus argued, sucking his stomach up as he did so.
"Don't argue, Minos is tired, give him some peace." Tinka said, as she handed Rinka to Minos.
"I don't mind, it reminds me of my parents." Minos laughed, as he took RInka and gave her a big kiss.
Giggling, Rinka returned the kiss, Minos's smile getting even larger before taking a seat beside Tinka and eating his somewhat cold meal.
"Let me heat it up Minos." Tinka said.
"It's okay, I like my food cold." Minos smiled, not wanting to bother Tinka.
As Minos slowly enjoyed his meal, the family began talking about their day, the atmosphere joyous.
With Minos finishing his food, the family called it a night, Minos and Tinka taking Rinka back to the room, who was already dozing off.
"Shall we sneak out?" Tinka said as she tucked Rinka into bed.
"Of course. While I like my food cold, I love my women hot." Minos said, as he gave Tinka's rear a slight squeeze.
"Not in front of Rinka!" Tinka said slightly, her face blushing.
Laughing some more, Minos took Tinka into his arms, heading back to their cabin to do as they usually did.
…
The next morning, Minos and Tinka once again snuck back home, sneaking into bed just in time to fool Rinka.
With Rinka waking up, the day officially began, the family enjoying a meal together before heading splitting off.
As per usual, Minos spent the first hour of the day teaching Rinka and the small group of children.
With his daily lesson done, he headed back to the cave, linking up his Nux strings to the puppets as he got used to manipulating ten at a time.
With all his past training, it wasn't actually that difficult, soon reaching a level where each puppet moved like a normal human.
Satisfied, Minos began splitting the puppets' jobs, assigning them each a different task based on what he needed.
Three were sent to train his sword skills, which he had neglected in recent times. Meanwhile, the other seven were each given a different book to study.
While he could study with his split souls, he only had two hands and could only write down so many ideas and theories.
But with the puppets, Minos could give each subject its due diligence, the puppets allowing him to write down his thoughts as he studied, improving his learning speed even more.
With the ten puppets at work, Minos's main body was stuck in front of a large screen made up of ten different Crystal Displays.
Watching through the Crystal Display, Minos operated each puppet, his fingers flying with a special rhythm, mesmerizing with an unspeakable quality.
With his hands and eyes completely occupied, Minos was like a control center, sending out commands to all his units.
Of course he still spared a small piece of his mind to use on cultivation, using the resources from the old man's ring whenever he needed them.
Despite being confined in a way, gaining ten puppets in exchange was more than enough to make up for it, so he sat calmly as he got to work.
His seven puppets were like a small group of scholars, each hard at work as they wrote down all the thoughts that came to Minos's head, pages filling at incredible speed as his ideas flowed.
Meanwhile, his other three were busy refining Minos's sword skills, which had become slightly rusty after all these years.
If someone was to walk into the cave at this moment, they'd see quite a strange site, a single man glued in front of a screen, as ten metallic humanoids were hard at work around him.
Time passed quickly as Minos was completely absorbed in his work, studying each field with full enthusiasm, his heart filled with joy as he was doing what he loved the most.
…
Days soon turned to weeks, which turned into months, the time having only been a blink from Minos's perspective.
The sound of tinkering echoed out from the cave, occasionally drawing the eyes of passing tribe members.
"What do you guy's think Minos is working on this time?" One tribe member asked in a whisper.
"I don't know, but if it's anything like the 'Helpful Bot,' it must be something amazing!"
"The 'Helpful Bot' is cool, but I prefer the 'Magic Screen,' we can watch all sorts of cool stuff with it!"
While the crowd was discussing, Minos was fully focused on the Crystal Screen in front of him, his puppets fast at work as they created all sorts of strange contraptions.
Without the Sun Absorber, Minos wasn't able to power the DNA Extraction Pod nor the Compo, hence he had been using this time to master the Lukalu people's other fields, creating all sorts of interesting tools.
If one were to travel through the Salt Breathing Tribe's village now, they'd see that the place had gone through a complete change because of Minos's inventions.
Metallic puppets similar to his Humanoid V1 were following behind tribe members, helping them out with simple tasks, making work much easier.
Large carriages were traveling back and forth, however rather than being pulled by horses or other demonic beasts, the wheels were spinning on their own, a thick steam releasing from an exhaust in the back.
Houses were fitted with all sorts of new items, screens capable of playing all sorts of lessons Minos had pre-recorded, which allowed the entire tribe to benefit from his knowledge.
Stoves capable of heating up without any fire, just requiring the twist of a knob, and faucets that could directly pull and filter water from the ocean, giving the entire tribe clean and fresh water whenever they desired.
Minos had even created a basic sewage system, decking each home with a personal toilet, making it so that the tribe members no longer had to head into the forest to do their 'business.'
Some may wonder why Minos would waste his time on something so 'filthy,' but in Minos's perspective, the value of knowledge was in its practicality.
He didn't discriminate, and he even found passion in creating the sewage system, as unattractive as it may seem.
Naturally, these projects were expensive, but with Minos's weapon and talisman crafting skills, he would make up the difference, but even then, he was perpetually poor due to his constant spending.
But everytime he saw the village that had new life breathed into it, his heart would burn with endless ambition, wanting to bring the world to Tinka, since she couldn't see the world.
By now, Minos had a nickname among the village, affectionately called the 'Maker' as he had created so many things.
But of all the things he had created, the thing Minos was most proud of was his Teaching Bot, a special puppet made with the sole purpose of teaching.
While he had recorded some lessons with the Crystal Recorder, those lessons were ultimately dead, and if anyone had questions, he wouldn't be able to answer them.
However the Teaching Bot was different, and Minos had loaded it up with answers to pretty much any question possible, giving it an edge over the pre-recorded lessons.
Of course, given how much information each Teaching Bot could store, he was forced to create dozens of them, each split into different grades and skills.
If a student felt competent enough, they could take a quiz to check their level, and if they pass, they would be allowed to start learning from a more advanced Teaching Bot.
