Gantel also noticed this change, but didn't seem to care. Instead he kept taunting from the other end of the stage.
"I've been waiting for this day for a long time. I'm going to make sure you can't get out of bed for a month."
Minos's face remained stoic, not caring at all about Gantel's threats. "No use for empty threats at this time. Let's use our strength to speak."
Gantel was slightly annoyed at Minos's lack of reaction, but the thought that he could soon beat up this kid wiped that feeling right away.
"Begin!"
Gantel immediately lunged at Minos, swinging his large fist straight at him. Minos watched as his arm flew closer, before responding with a punch of his own.
Gantel was caught off guard. This punch was meant as a feint in order to make Minos use his "Fireball Talisman" so that he could dodge it, hence there was no power in his fist.
Minos naturally knew the way Gantel thought, having dealt with the man for two years, so he knew he'd try to get rid of the "Fireball Talisman" first and foremost.
The two fists impacted each other, and since Gantel had little force, Minos quickly pushed in, landing a harsh blow on Gantel's right rib cage.
Gantel was clearly hurt by this attack, and quickly pulled away. He looked down at his rib cage that seemed to be bruised and his face went red in rage.
"What the hell? How did Minos out power Gantel. There's an entire layer between the two of them!"
"You didn't look closely enough, Gantel's first punch was a feint with no power. Why he did that, I don't know, but either way, Minos recognized it and took advantage."
Gantel was clearly enraged at this point, but the fact that Minos still had a "Fireball Talisman" kept him from attacking directly.
Even at the Second Life Lock, if he received a fireball face first, he'd end up in bed for at least a month.
Minos exploited Gantel's fear, and kept jabbing at him from a distance. He repeatedly went for the right rib cage in which he had already damaged, making Gantel's condition even worse.
Gantel was afraid of attacking in full force, because then he'd have no strength to avoid the fireball, hence he was forced to play it safe, constantly ready to dodge.
However fighting like this wasn't the answer, and even as dumb as Gantel was, he realized that.
Minos also knew that while fighting like this would irritate Gantel, it wouldn't help him win. The damage he was dealing was too weak, and with Gantel's superior cultivation, his endurance would last much longer than Minos's.
Realizing this, Minos knew it was about time to end this fight officially. He pretended to stumble for a moment as he was pulling back from a punch, leaving his waist wide open.
Gantel instantly saw this, but instead of going for the attack, he quickly reached out and grabbed onto the talisman paper tucked into Minos's waist.
"Ahahaha you little bastard, I finally got it. Without this, nothing is stopping me from whooping you. You're about to regret everything you've done" Gantel almost shouted with triumph.
Everyone gathered around the crowd was a bit confused, but as they saw the talisman paper in Gantel's hand, they suddenly understood.
Gantel once again threw his body forward, but this time it was with full force. Gantel expected to see fear on Minos's face, but instead he only saw a slight grin.
"Who said I only had one talisman?" Minos spoke, as he pulled another talisman from behind him.
Gantel was completely frozen. He quickly attempted to stop his force, managing to just barely swing his body to the side, in an attempt to dodge. But unfortunately for him, he was wrong again.
