Awakeners : They are Humans or Demi humans who have ascended their mortal bodies by awakening mana. There is many ranks and each rank has 4 main stages (Low), (Mid), (High) and (Peak) being on top. The strength gained after crossing each stage is large. It's easier to rank up stages when in lower Realms however the higher your realm the more difficult it is. To put it simply it is possible to beat an awakener at a higher stage or realm however it will be very difficult. If pure strength is used alone it would take 80-100 [low stage A realm] awakeners to beat 1 [low stage S realm awakener].

Beasts/Devils: They are the unrestrained animals and demons who have let strength and mana flood into their brains. In exchange for power their morality and control were traded. Although an incredible amount of mana flows through them some still maintain control as they serve higher and more sinister beings. They would have the same 4 stages except one extra one. (low), (mid), (high), (peak) and (Berserk). The berserk stage is one that has overcome the rank of a beast by exchanging it's own lifeforce for power. This temporary gain of power will most likely lead to death for the creature, however can overcome their rank and push them towards the next few thresholds.

General Talent:
The Talent of a person is something they are born with and can only be changed through great difficulty. It wouldn't be their physical body but their talent for mana. The grade they are born with is the amount of capacity they are given and the effectiveness of their actions with mana. So a person with S grade Talent will learn and master techniques quicker and have a higher mana capacity than a B rank, so given the same time and effort put in the B rank would have an extremely difficult time catching up.
Attributes/Artifacts/Techniques/Mastery:
Attributes are the numerical value a awakener has in their stats, a person with a higher numerical value in a certain stat can be assumed to be better than them, however it does not guarantee victory if the two were to compete.
These can also be Elements however each element a person has have their own techniques, talents and mastery over them. These are from birth and cannot be changed very easily with talent. Most Awakened have 1 talent.
Artifacts are weapons/items that have mana embedded into them. There are many types of Artifacts and the rarer one is the stronger it would be or the more useful they would be. Those with the highest ratings can be assumed to have divinity within or another type of mana that can rival its strength.
Techniques are the skills which an awakener can learn to perform actions that would be considered impossible for a normal human to perform, they can boost combat abilities and even create new objects. These techniques range from Defence to offence to even movement, there are many types of them. Unless the skill is one move skill, there may be techniques which is apart of a family of techniques, only being able to learn the next one once you've built a solid foundation and mastered a certain amount of the previous one. An example would be the [Sword Blossom Supreme (SS)] Edward's sword technique where there are multiple sword technique in one family and once all are mastered they can learn the final technique which is the most powerful. Using techniques uses up a awakener's mana, if mana has run out and they are in a desperate situation. Their body and lifeforce can be used in exchange.
The Ratings for these range from: (F) Being the Weakest to (SSS) Being the Strongest.
Mastery:
Mastery is how well an awakened know their techniques and abilities. The higher the artifact level or the technique the harder it is to master. Awakeners whose realm have reached the same level or surpassed them will find it easier to master. A good example of this is: if a awakener tries to learn a technique or use an artifact that is ranked higher than themselves, it would be the same as a man trying to lift a boulder or mountain. A person who tries to learn a technique below their ranks would be the same as lifting up a pebble. Easy but however wasting their potential.
Mastery is rated by (%) from 0 - 100%. Those who have higher mastery can use what they mastered with ease and much quicker.
