At that moment, the Vampire Blade seemed to detect something, pivoting swiftly as Zed followed its gaze upward in surprise.
He knew then, something was about to occur. After a brief pause, the atmosphere was filled with the tumultuous thundering from above, causing the energy circulating in the air to undergo drastic changes.
Zed could then hear the humming of countless insects, as if an army on the move. A colossal beetle began to frenziedly burrow in every direction, the entire swarm seemingly making a desperate dash for the surface of their colony.
Something of considerable magnitude was transpiring outside, otherwise, the insects of the colony would not be fleeing in such an uncoordinated manner. Zed wasn't the most astute of individuals, but even he knew not to let such an opportunity slip.
With the majority of the insectoid inhabitants pouring out of the colony, he realized this was the perfect time to kill Mundo.
