Egon wrestled with the mystery of Freya's unexpected call, Astrid couldn't help but notice. Sensing the tension in the air, she interjected,
"Pick up your girlfriend's call." Hastily, she released her grasp from Egon's hand.
"Don't worry, I won't intrude on your conversation with your girlfriend. When you're done, meet me in the bunker. Bye."Astrid retreated to their bunker her voice resolute as she bid farewell.
As Egon continued to contemplated over whether or not to answer the call, he mentally chastised Mega for putting him in this precarious situation.
"The lady isn't my girlfriend, now I have to act as if she is. Thanks to you Mega!" he grumbled inwardly, unable to resist the impending call any longer. He sighed heavily and pressed the answer on his watch bracing himself for Freya's voice.
