"Is Eve going to eat the flesh of the serpent?"
Maia wondered, but then she saw how Eve tore through the scales and flesh, then took out the heart of the serpent and without a second thought, she ate the heart.
"Wha-? Why is she eating that heart?"
Maia asked, although she had seen scenes like this before, but in those times, the beasts would eat even the flesh and organs; Maia even wondered if Eve was just picky.
They both stared at Eve for a while after she had eaten the heart. Eve stood silent with her eyes closed as she absorbed the properties of the serpent completely.
Then Eve first returned to her normal black jelly-like form. Maia was just about to ask her a question when she saw Eve changing into exactly the serpent she had fought not long ago.
But Eve looked different from the dead serpent; her body was a mixture of black and white patterns, which showed she was the more matured version of the serpent.
