Colton got out of the bed, having spent the entire day before simply thinking and helping Calliope plan out their next moves.
The twins sat next to each other in a corner of the room, holding their staff. The rest of the team though were either on any remaining chairs or simply on the ground.
Calliope was already awake, having slept on the bed as well. She was holding one of the books they took from the palace library, reading inside it.
"Anything useful?" Colton asked in a groggy tone. He got out of bed, preparing for the day ahead as the sun's light from the barred window hit them.
"This book seems to be a doctrine of sorts for these guards. They focus heavily on physical and mental resistance, but not much else." She explained, turning a page to continue reading.
