A field of sand was built on both sides of the stone path the team walked on, on their way to the door of the castle.
Both sand fields had a variety of weapons and training tools to use for training, along with some tents for rest. Many sparred against each other, using the ropes on their hands far more and fighting by keeping their distance and swinging at one another, rarely going near to use their swords.
Shrubs decorated the base of the castle with rows of banners just above the door, showing the many units that they housed.
"A few more similarities to the castle back in the kingdom. It brings an interesting nostalgia." Calliope remarked, walking down the path with her arms resting behind her back and the sword on her waist. The sight of the place gave an odd relaxing feeling to her, while making the rest of the team fearful.
'She really is odd.' Colton thought, having heard what she said. No matter how long she fought and served with him, she rarely made sense.
