You were a picture, stuck in a freeze frame, always looking so divine.

And you accepted me, as someone close to you! What a joy that day was, oh my!

To you I wrote letters, to you I wrote songs, I told you jokes and stories of lands far away, of futures both so bright and clear, and dark and twisted, but you always listened carefully, and I thought you wanted this spring to never end.

To you I sent flowers, to you I played melodies, I cared for you, truly and deeply.

I made you laugh, and you made me cry.
