Ragnor walks into the throne room looking at the king Dracula.
"What have you learned?" Dracula asks in a deep voice while looking out of the castle window. "Well, where do I start, from observing him, he's very fast but he isn't very good at fighting, he can't control his power very well yet." Ragnor says standing in the same position as before.
Frowning, Dracula says "I'm not surprised, he had just awakened not too long ago. Did you see any potential in him?" Ragnor coughs a little. "Yes sire, but at the rate he is going I cannot say what he will be like in the future. He's very clumsy, and he has a issue with rage which seems to be the activator for his power."
Dracula looks at Ragnor, chills run down Ragnors spine as he makes eye contact with Dracula. "Do you think he will be a threat to us and the vampire world, I would hate for someone to come into my kingdom and start trouble." Dracula says grasping onto a stone pillar and crushing it in his hand.
Ragnor hesitates. "No sire, I do not believe he will be a threat as of right now." Dracula looks at him. "Good, keep an eye on him and report back about his progress." Dracula leaves the room and ragnor finally let his breath leave his lungs.
"He really is an intimidating guy" Ragnor says disappearing into the shadows.
Later that day....
I wake up in my bed again. "Damn it, I can't believe I let it happen again. But who was that talking to me?" I ask myself trying to get up, feeling pain in my chest I slowly get up and leave my room.
Leaving my room I run into Jenny. "Oh hey Kamen, I was looking for you. I have someone I want you to meet." Jenny says grabbing my hand and dragging me with her to the living room. She stops and motions to a woman I've never seen before. "This is my mother, she is an expert with abilities and I thought she would know a way for you to control and harness your abilities." I look at the woman, she's tall, blonde, and has ruby red eyes. "Beautiful" I say under my breath.
Jenny's mother stares at me smiling. "So this is the man that you love. He looks alot weaker than I had imagined."
Shocked, I ask. "Uh, what's your name?" She just stands there proudly and announces. "My name is Rose" Looking at Jenny and I ask, "Is she normally like this?"
Jenny shakes her head yes. "She's a wonderful teacher but is kinda sadistic, she gets off when her student is in pain from her training." Shrugging I say. "Well, I guess I'm not surprised she's your mother, so where do we start." Rose stares at me.
"Well first lover boy, we have to work on your rage issues follow me." She waves her hand and I lift up off the ground.
"What..the...fuck..." I say looking at Jenny. She shrugs and says " She has a multitude of abilities and powers, this is one of her abilities. Anyways have fun!" Jenny says skipping out of the room into the kitchen.
"Where are we going Rose?" I ask. She looks back and replies. "We're gonna train your rage issues silly."
Coughing I say " We tried that already it didn't work very well." Sounding annoyed she says " It's because you don't have proper discipline, while we train, your body will be stronger, your mind, your ability and your regeneration too possibly." Having no way to fight back and say no I just stay still and let her drag me wherever we're going.
20 minutes later we're back in the training area.
"I don't understand how your training will be any different than Jenny and Alistairs." I say annoyed. She waves her hand and the walls and floor are reinforced with some energy I've never seen before. Turning around smiling, Rose says " That's the thing, my training will be more brutal than theirs."
Walking towards Rose I feel something pierce my back. I look down and see a spear ran through my chest. "What the fuck Rose?" I say in shock and anger.
Smiling she snickers and says " You have to expect the unexpected Kamen." As soon as I pull out the spear and I feel fire envelope my body. It burns, I try my best to put it out, but nothing works. Shrieking in pain I feel the darkness slowly taking over. "You really can't do anything without me can you." The mysterious voice says.
Rage slowly taking over, Rose squints her eyes at me and waves her hand. The darkness that was slowly taking over fades away. "We can't have you doing that now can we, it wouldn't be fair to sweet old me now would it?" Rose says while turning her foot in a circle staring at me smiling.
The fire fades and I feel my body start to heal, it itches and hurts so bad. I grit my teeth and try to fight through it. Running towards her I throw out a punch. Rose grabs my arm and throws me away. "You have to try harder than that Kamen."
Getting up I run back towards her disappearing and reappearing behind her, as soon as I throw a punch out, another spear appears out of nowhere and pierces my leg. "God damn it Rose. Stop that!"
Rose giggles " Make me Kamen, if you can." Rose lifts me up and 3 more spears pierce my body. One in my left shoulder, one in my stomach, and one in my throat.
Gurgling blood, I look at Rose. "Just how strong is she." I think to myself as she throws me down into the ground and rips the spears out of my body. I shout in pain. Getting angrier and angrier. I get up and rush her, dodging the spears that are thrown at me. "You're getting faster Kamen, but sadly it isn't enough." Rose says as she grabs me and throws me into the ground and picks me up and slams me into the wall.
Angry. Rose says "Damn it Kamen, try harder. You won't get any stronger if you don't try."
Getting up from the ground, I think. "Damn it, what do you think I'm trying to do lady." Trying something different I go with the flow and imagine the energy slowly spreading to my feet and hands. Looking up at Rose, I push off the ground and appear infront of her in a split second. Punching as hard as I can, I hit her in the face and send her flying into the wall. I appear infront of her again and repeatedly hit her in the face feeling the rage slowly take over. I take a deep breath and imagine the rage is adding to my strength. The feeling goes away and my hand glow red with a black hue to it.
"Interesting" I say looking at my hands. I go to punch Rose again and she stops my punch. "That's enough for today Kamen, you're using too much of your energy." Rose says staring at me.
"What do you mean I can keep go-" I feel a pain in my chest again and I fall to the ground. "What's happening to me?!" I ask in pain. Getting up Rose looks at me and scolds me. "You used too much of your energy and you're hurting your soul Kamen. If you use too much energy your soul getting damaged and eventually it won't recover and you'll die. No second chances."
Thinking to myself "I didn't even think about that, I just did what felt natural."
Feeling my consciousness fade, I see rose hover over me and whisper something. Everything fades to black.
I wake up a few hours later still laying in the training area.
Rose looking at her phone. "Oh Kamen, good. I'm glad you're awake. You did a good job, somethings need help but you kinda get it."
Getting up I look around and say " I thought I would've been back in my room again." Rose laughs "Sorry lover boy, but can't do that. We still need to train more."
"Ugh" I groan. "We aren't going to take a break?" I ask.
Rose looks serious. "I'm sorry Kamen, but enemies won't let you take a rest."
Remembering what happened before I ask Rose "Tell me about the enemies please? Why do you hate them so much?" Rose looks at me and stares out into the distance and sighs.
"There's no need to tell you that, you'll find out soon enough anyways. It's not too important so I won't tell you yet." Rose says looking at me. "Anyways, we need to start your training again."
"Ugh fine." I say annoyed.
Rose smiles and says "I'll make it fun Kamen, I promise."
"Bull shit." I say under my breath.
30 minutes later I'm covered in bruises and scars. My body hurts so bad and my rage builds up more and more. Rose smiles and says "Good job Kamen, your almost there."
"Shut the fuck up, I'm going to kill you." I say smiling.
Rose smiles and says "You really are getting stronger and faster, but you need better control. Let's see your abilities and regeneration."
"Fine" I say annoyed.
Waving her hand, a sword forms in my hand. "Tell me when you're ready Kamen." She says leaving her body and letting her soul leave her body. Getting into a fighting stance I grip the sword tightly. "Alright let's get this over with." I say. As soon as I move, Rose appears infront of me and punches me in the face and kicks my stomach, sending me flying into the wall.
Rage taking over, I feel the darkness slowly taking over. In a rage I shout. "NO, I don't need you!" I keep focusing letting the darkness smooth out over my body and try to take control of it. "You'll regret not letting me take over again. You'll never be better than me." The mysterious voice says disappearing in my mind.
Breathing in deep I feel my rage subside and take control over the darkness. "Good, now I feel better." Cracking my neck I look at Rose. "You better be ready for what comes next."
Rose looks confused. I appear beside her I swing my sword but it's a feint, I slam my fist into her chest and push my hand through it picking her up and throwing her down to the ground.
"You lose Rose, give it up." I say smiling looking down at her.
