Chapter 1 - Inconvinience

*Thock**Thock*

Clicking sounds of a refined mechanical keyboards were abbriviated to the silent night.

A dark room was dimly-lighted by a monitor. Looking closer onto the monitor, a passage of words is currently being typed one by one.

The keyboard was continuosly clicked at an uneven rhythm until it eventually goes slower and ended with a clacking sound of the 'Enter' key.

What was shown is a comment being written on a webnovel. You would probably think he was giving a constructive criticism but no, he's just talking shit on the novel.

He just doesn't bother to give advice or anything because it's not like he is a professional writer and the author wouldn't really change his way of writing just because of an advice coming from nobody.

Then he thinks that his opinion doesn't really matter so his shit talking probably won't too.

He went about on his business and opened a new tab and put in 'Wtube' then proceeds to watch volleyball videos as it is one of his interests that he takes seriously.

After a few videos, he closed all the tabs and the screen wallpaper came into view. As he was about to shut down his PC, he blankly stared at the screen and began to daydream.

He was thinking about scenarios that he would write if he were to be an author of novels that he's read.

Miya likes to imagine things but he has a problem of conveying them thus making him unavailable to be a writer or such.

His shortcoming doesn't really bothers him that much but sometimes he just think it would be great if he were able to put his imagination into words or writings.

"Why the hell am I so exhausted." He said before getting off the chair and laid down on his bed to sleep.

By no means was he ready for whatever was about to hit him.

**************

I felt my consciousness coming back so I'm expecting to wake up but what greeted me is total darkness.

'Is it sleep paralyse?' 'Or am I going blind?'

A few expectation came to mind. I tried moving my body and contrary to one of my thoughts I could move my hand so I deduced that I'm probably goind blind.

Well, the thought of going blind does concern me but if it's fate what can I really do right?

But I don't think that's tge case because this space feels like some kind of a warped place and not my room as the ground I'm resting on doesn't feel anything like my bed.

After a few seconds of waiting for something to happen I started getting bored and tried to sleep.

That's when the ground I was lying on felt like dissappearing and I srted falling.

"What The Fuuuccckkkkk!"

Panic ran through me as the sensation of falling felt too real and doesn't feel anyhthing like a dream.

But wait, it's not like I'm really fond of living so isn't this a good opportunity to die?

But yeah, the thought of falling from a thound feet and splatting to the ground like a fucking jelly does makes me uncomfortable to a certain extent. Meh,not that I really care.

Amidst my panic, I gradually gained my vision back and the view of a bright sky with clouds hovering emerged.

It is a view you would stop for awhile and admire the beauty but I'm literally falling from the fucking sky like I'm dropping from a battle but but without a fucking parachute.

As I await my demise with an opened heart, My body feels like it's morphing and felt like it was being pulled by something. Then my consciousness felt hazy and I got sucked into something like a vaccuum.

Then my consciousness faced the bright sky and I started to feel my body back. I went jnto a crowling position and started panting and gasping for air.

After a series of pants, I sat on my back and laid on the ground which is a grass.

I started feeling my body and as I thought it felt awkward as if it isn't my body.

"Are you for real man."

I'm not certain yet but it seems like I probably got into a some character's body from some novel. It is a trope you can find a lot these days. The problem is only a certain few makes full use of this trope and bring out the best story you can get with a setting this creative. The majority that fails to do this still gets a few people intrigued but not me as I've read great masterpiece of novels and I only yearn for the likewise.

*Sigh*

I exhaled a sigh as I was thinking of a few things. The problem is that inside those mass-produced novels, the main characters are usually some smart quick-witted guy and they always do a lot of planning from the start to the end like figuring the plots and how to prevent certain events from happening blah blah~.

Me on the other side, I wouldn't say I'm not smart as I enroll in one of the country's top school and I got straight A's in the biggest highschool exam in the country. But, that was because I had motivation to ace the exams and make my parents proud. Even though I got the motivation a few months before the exam atleast I still had the drive to push myself.

But this, It's not like I'm not interested at all but it's just… like too much of a hassle.
