The doll had begun to move its lips. "Who are you?" the doll spoke its first words. The voice of the doll was also surprisingly identical to a human's voice and it would be impossible to recognize that they were an artificial intelligence. Fusao then spoke his first words to the doll "I am Zairyo Fusao, your creator". The doll then responds "Then who am I and what am I?" Fusao then told her "You are an artificial intelligence created by me and branded by a company named Idoll, your name is Mirai Hoshi". Mirai seemed shaken by this sudden news "Is that why I have no memory of anything before this?" Fusao answered "That's correct, you were born just a few seconds ago". "Then you're the one who named me Mirai Hoshi? But what if I wanted to have a different name?" questions were continuously being asked by the curious AI. Fusao continued to answer "It would only make sense to, it's like a parent naming their child, not to mention that Mirai Hoshi means Future Star". "I like the name, however, why name me it?" Fusao then reminded Mirai "Do you remember what I said earlier?" They responded with again another question "About what?". Fusao then filled Mirai with even more information "You're branded by a company named Idoll which is an extremely popular idol company at this current moment". Mirai thanked him for the reminder. Fusao then told Mirai some news they weren't prepared for, "Your debut is happening in half an hour, you will be singing and dancing for an audience as your very first task". Mirai asked more questions once again but this time because she was worried "How will I sing or dance if I've never done it before? Will it not be difficult for me?" Fusao reassured her "Don't worry you know how to dance, you've been programmed to do it and there's an audio box inside you which plays an autotuned voice whenever you try to sing on stage".
This information settled Mirai down but she still had lots of questions which she decided could be asked later. As time was going by Fusao left the stage as well as Mirai who was now standing in the centre of an empty stage holding a microphone and waiting for the curtains to open. The time had finally arrived when the curtains were opened and Mirai was presented to an audience larger than she imagined. They were all standing on the floor in a huge dark hall holding and shaking their light green glow sticks up in the air and cheering as if they had already seen her before. A loud voice then came from two speakers which had been placed on the right and left side of the stage but not in an area visible to the audience. The voice shouted in a manner very similar to a DJ's voice at a children's birthday party "This is Idolls 2033 Everybody! Welcome Mirai Hoshi, she is the newest member of the company Idoll and she is the very first Artificial Intelligence idol ever! today she will be singing her very first song, Future Star!" After that very moment, the music began and Mirai had lyrics pop into her thoughts. The lyrics were very optimistic and cheerful but there were bits in the song that were slightly dark. The song lasted just over four minutes and Mirai managed to do everything perfectly from dancing, singing, creating lyrics and making it match the background music. When the song ended, everyone was clapping and cheering and glowing sticks could still be seen shaking in the air for another 30 seconds. Everyone in the audience was happy with her performance but Mirai herself throughout the entirety of the four minutes she was performing on stage had so many questions. She was questioning who the voice from the speakers was, and why she was able to do everything on stage so easily, she questioned why the audience was so fascinated by her and mainly she questioned what the world outside the stage is like. These were all things that Mirai wanted the answer to at this current moment however as she reaches to the future she may regret discovering the answers to her questions...
