Tangled.

We were walking towards the car . Covered with the most comfortable blankets ,feeling lighter than what we felt before we decided to head to the cinema . Happiness and strength is now in the place of sadness and drained emotions . The sky is dark and the breeze is cold , but our hearts are warm and filled with laughter. We feel more relaxed and at ease . "This is truly one of the best Disney movies ever created " she said it with great certainty . I couldn't help but relate to it. " Indeed " I replied . We both relate to this character so much ... every single day feels the same as if we were meant to repeat everything in life , as if life doesn't have something new to offer . It leaves us feeling stuck and stagnant , suffocating and it's honestly draining . Every morning the usual line up , sweep and do chores till everything's clean . Working but there seems to be no end ,until time catches up with us .Then everything gets repeated . Free time is a reward , so we claim it by reading a book or maybe two or three . Create some art in order to express our creative minds that just needs time , and if time is in our favour we get some of the most healing medicine ...MUSIC . Sometimes we listen just for the fun of it and sometimes the lyrics fills the direct spot that lacks healing . After we feel a little more restored by all these I guess we'll have the strength to go on with our day . Just like every other day .Wondering when our lives will begin ...🤔 Doing anything to keep us distracted from the naked truths that life presents to us , we try to avoid it but not everything is avoidable . Most times we need to face the things that drain our souls , whether we have energy left in us or not . Always depending on the time we have to spare .Always wondering when our lives will begin because we've just been surviving everyday .On lonely nights we can't help but overthink and make up scenarios , sometimes bad ,sometimes on what we want our lives to be like , the good goals that keep us going just a little more . So we go harder on life the next day because we have hope of a better future if we just do everything ourselves . People only recognize us when it suits them ...when it's convenient for them and they only care when they have to put up a show infront of others . Maybe they also care once you do good in life and once they get a sneak peak of the success that your hard work will bring ...Ofcourse they'll care if they get benefits out of it at the end of the day . Feeling held back by everyone who's supposed to "love you " . Held back by people who want you to "succeed" . But if two or more people are in a fight and one of them are being held back ... the one being held back will certainly lose .The one who has the freedom will be victorious . Sometimes I wish I could ask them what their idea of achieving success looks like . Do they perceive it as magically getting somewhere while someone constantly holds them back or do they perceive it as giving the person freedom or atleast trusting in them to experience everything in order to grow . Well now that I'm older mother might just let me go ...or will she ? I honestly don't know . Yet we hold on because its the least we could do . You don't cross a busy road just to stop right in the middle . You have to cross it completely in order to reach your destination safely. That's what we have been doing . Hopefully ...no, certainly we'll reach a beautiful destination one day and our hard work will pay off . I know it's worth it .
