Alex wasn't particularly good-looking or intelligent.
Still, he had a similar gift to his father, who worked in the sales sector: he had a way with words, trying to gradually change people's opinions through verbal means and not.
As a drop of water slowly carved a rock, Alex achieved something remarkable: he changed the classroom's opinion of Eric.
To achieve that, he showed strong determination and consistency in his actions.
