"A Black Boar!" Grey answered. "Why?"
*Black Boar"
Skills: Low level earth magic.
Attributes: Tough black skin. Two large tusks.
Size: 3 - 4 feet tall.
Age: Millennial (One 10,000 years, Twenty 9,500 years, Thirty 9,000 years)
"I heard a grunt. But, isn't a Black Boar a little too weak to be a floor boss?"
"Yes, but its strength lies in its ability to control a horde of boars. "
"I remember that." Dorian said. "The guild put out a quest for it."
"What quest?" I asked.
"Apparently," Dorian continued. "the boars have been ambushing and killing many adventurers on this floor. So the guild put out a quest to kill the floor boss, and the horde it controls. Because any one of the boars it controls can replace it."
"Oh." I said, with a smile forming on my lips. "Then I guess we will have to assist the guild then. That horde of boars, is headed our way. We have no choice but to fight them if we want to move on."
Jade took a deep breath, then exhaled. This was what she did whenever getting ready for a fight. Then she began giving instructions. "Since we have no other choice, we will use the tactics we talked about yesterday. Gorm. Ace. You guys handle the front. Jack and Grey. Support from the rear. Nick and Hina. Back us up with magic and healing. Jordan. Dorian will take the flanks. I have the middle."
"Alright guys. Here they come."
Ace took out his broad sword from his Helix ring. Then the ground started to shake. It started softly but got louder and louder until boars started rushing into the room from the exit if front of us.
Five. Ten. Thirty. The boars kept rushing in until the last of them, the Boar King, came into the room.
Ace, with his broad sword, and Gorm, with his fists, started sprinting towards the boars. Immediately they started running, the boar king screeched loudly.
Then the boars started rushing towards us.

Two hours later, our newly formed party successfully defeated the horde of boars that attacked us. We completed a B rank quest that the guild had put out.
Our two teams equally divided the items we had gotten from the beasts. Fifty one Mana crystal, fifty one Black Boar Tusks, and other materials.
We resumed our journey to the lower floor. Defeating the boars made our journey easier, since the boars were the beasts that guarded the entrance to the forty first floor. We passed through the entrance going down a rocky path that looked like a stairs.
Then we got to the exit. The instant we passed through and entered the forty-first floor, the whole dungeon terrain changed.
This room wasn't a room but a large forest.
Not a dense forest filled with tall trees, but a forest of thorny plants and vines that climbed and coiled around whatever they could find around them.
But that wasn't all. This room was brighter. It seemed as if we had just entered a different section of the dungeon and the dungeon was letting us know.
We stood on a cliff that was only a few feet from the ground of the room, staring down at the scene below us.
"Whoa." That was everyone could say as they stared at the scenery that laid under our feet.
"Praise the stars!" Hina exclaimed.
"Indeed." Ace said. "The Gods really are amazing. How can such a place exist?"
I scoffed. Then I looked at Ace and said. "If this was enough to impress you. Then you really need to visit the Underground Tower. The three labyrinths aren't places that lower beings can comprehend. They are vast and mysterious. "Anyway. Let's focus on our task, we are in the presence of powerful beasts."
"There." Dorian said, pointing down to a forest of black vines. "Those eerie looking black plants. That's where the black vine snakes are known to stay."
"Okay. Let's move."
"Wait." Jade said. "Once we get down there. Hina." She called. "Cast a protection spell on everyone. Nick, assist her. These snakes are different. They have a stealth skill, but more importantly, they have the extra skill, Eyes of illusion. So everyone stay sharp."
"Alright."
"You got it."
Nick cast a protective spell on us all, one that helped against mind magic. Then Hina, cast another magic to protect us from the poison the snakes are known to have.
We went down the cliff and got to the Black Vine Forest. The forest had few trees, that were around were only as tall as seven feet, scattered here and there, with black vines entwining the trees together.
We moved in complete silence. Weapons drawn and focus on their surroundings. These snakes were known to be cunning beasts. Caution was always to be exercised whenever a party was dealing with them.
Fifteen minutes of walking through the forest and still, nothing. Some of us began to look worried about not finding any snakes even after going so deep into the forest.
"Stop!" I shouted when I heard a rustling sound. The sound continued, and was approaching us fast. "Northeast, something is coming. It's fast."
Jade saw that look on S's face had become more intense. "Let's take this slow. Surround and kill. Okay." Jade said it hoping to calm them.
*Black Vine Snake*
Skills: Stealth. Eyes of Illusion. Poison Breath.
Attributes: Tough Black Scales. Green eyes.
Size: 33 feet long.
Age: Decal Millennial (15,000 years)
Moments later, a thirty feet long black snake sprang out from behind some bushes, lunging itself towards Ace. As it got close to him, Ace yelled as he swung his large sword at the snake's head. "Aaaargh."
He missed? No! The snake dodged. "Ace watch out!" I shouted. But it was too late. The snake had already swung its tail at Ace. The tail hit Ace on his torso, throwing him back. Ace flew backwards and crashed onto a tree.
Gorm, already close to the snake, ran to it and punched it with his bare fist. The giant's punch was powerful enough to push the snake back.
The snake hissed and sprang back up.
Dorian, Jade and I, sensing a chance, rushed towards the snake. At the same time, Grey and Jack who had taken up positions on trees, fired arrows ,that flew over our head, to the snake. Three arrows succeeded in piercing the snake in its neck.
This gave the three of us a chance to attack.
Dorian attacked first with his short sword. But the snake dodged giving me, who was on the opposite side, a chance.
I thrust my spear into the snake's side. A direct hit. My spear broke through the snake's thick scales. Red hot blood gushed out as I drew my spear out from the snake's side.
"Hisssss." The snake screamed loudly as it coiled backwards.
"Everyone back." Nick shouted. Their spell was completed. Nick and Hina had stayed back to prepare a powerful magical attack.
Nick touched the ground with his hand, as Hina hit her sceptre on the ground. A red magic circle formed on the ground, under the snake. "Violent Explosion!!!" They shouted together.
*Violet Explosion
Fire Element
7th Tier Elemental Magic*
A violent release of fire erupted from the magic circle, burning the snake. The snake rolled and coiled around as it hissed loudly. The flames were intense, but not enough to kill it. Seconds later, the flames dispersed.
Immediately the flames went out, the snake reared its head backwards like it was about to attack. But instead of striking, it opened its mouth.
"No!" I shouted. I noticed the snake was angry. And Black Vine Snakes tend to release their poisonous breath only when angry or close to death. "Everyone scatter!" I said as the snake sprouted an ugly looking, green coloured gas that covered the whole surrounding area.
The breath was not only poisonous but also clouded our vision of everything around.
"Take out your Anti-poison potions. Now!" I shouted to my party members, that I could barely see at this point. We all took out a purple coloured bottle and drank its contents. It was an anti-poison potion. A yellow-green aura covered us, protecting us from the poison.
But now, with the party's view clouded, the snake went on the offensive. All snakes had the skill: Heat Sense, which allowed them to see their surroundings even when their sight was clouded.
But Monsters also have that skill, especially Dragons.
Ace could see clearly even as the air was clouded by the poison.
He sensed the snake and ran towards it, leaping up. As he started to fall down, he swung his sword down at the snake's head. The large sword cut the snake's right eye. The snake screamed and hissed.
Then Ace retreated from the snake.
The assassins, who were perched on trees, took the chance and fired at the snake's left eye. Two arrows pierced the eye making the snake completely blind.
The snake became agitated, crashing its body around on trees and rocks.
"Finish it Jordan!" Jade shouted.
"Aaaaarrgh..." I yelled and lunged at the snake, stopped then threw my spear at it. My silver spear flew through the air as easily as an arrow and landed right between the snake's eyes.
That was the killing hit. The snake's large, black body fell to the ground with a loud thud. It was dead.
