And so, a week passed.
It was winter of the year ten thousand, one hundred and twenty five (10,125) after the arrival of the Celestial Mavis. Since then, the continent was named after her. The Mavis continent.
This day would later be known as the beginning of the Great Change.
It was noon. The Wolf clan's city had accepted guests from all the other clans and Minora. The city was packed.
A large bell rang three times signalling the start of the Declaration/Crowning ceremony. Hordes of Monsters and Dwarves began walking towards the City Hall.
The City Hall was a large building used for formal gatherings and ceremonies that included the ceremony done to celebrate the arrival of a new city leader. But the time, the hall was used for a different reason.
We decided that a small and quiet ceremony was what we needed. This was so we could have some time to prepare before other kingdoms discovered that we have created a new nation. Before they find out, and start moving against us.
This time, was going to be important. So, opened the wolf clan city's gates to every monster clan and dwarf in the Northern Region and Minora. The wolf city was going to be the land where the Northern Empire was born.
The City Hall was a standard hall, well lighted and empty with a raised platform at the end of the room. Hoards of Monsters entered the hall filling the empty spaces leaving only the aisle.
The fifteen leaders of the Monster clans and Sean, the leader of the Arctic Dwarves, entered the hall and made their way to the podium. They got there and stood facing the crowd.
Then Millis entered the hall.
Immediately she came in, the room became quiet. She walked slowly down the aisle towards the podium, accompanied by Aisha, Lia and Arianne. They followed her, quietly walking side by side behind her.
The crowd watched in awe as they walked into the podium.

I was last to enter the hall.
I walked down the aisle and got up to the podium. I turned to Millis. She turned and looked at me. We smiled at the same time. Today, was going to be the birth of our nation. Our Empire.
King Klaus walked forward slowly. He got to the edge of the podium and stopped. "Two weeks ago, Prince Jordan arrived." He said with a loud voice that covered the hall. "And he arrived with a plan. He came with a plan to unify us. All Monsters under one flag."
"We have lived independently for thousands of years that the unification of our race began to sound like a fairy tale." He continued. "But it isn't. Prince Jordan has proven to us that all it takes, is for us to will it. All it takes is for us to want it. All it takes if for us to grab it with our hands."
"My family was chosen to rule and protect the nation of Minora many years ago. But now the world is changing. I have decided to merge the nation of Minora with the Northern Region and to pass its crown over to a new King. So our race can finally be united. I, King Klaus, in the presence of all the Monster clans, Dwarves and Lady Millis, hereby announce my abdication as king of Minora. And I announce the unification of the Northern Region and the Kingdom of Minora."
"We have witnessed your declaration." Millis said.
"Now you shall swear you allegiance to the king of the new Kingdom."
The fifteen clan leaders and Sean knelt down in front of Jordan. Everyone in the hall knelt down with them.
The leaders proclaimed together. "We hereby swear our allegiance, to Prince Jordan, second son of King Jamie, second prince of the Wolf clan! We swear to serve and protect you for all time!"
That was when I moved forward and said. "I, Jordan, accept your oath. And I also swear, to serve, guide and protect all who are subjects of this nation. Our Nation."
Then Millis made her declaration. "I, Millis, second Celestial of Wisdom, have witnessed your oath, I hereby declare to serve, guide and protect this Kingdom as its Guardian for all time."
A bright, golden light shone around the body of every Monster and Dwarf in the Northern Region and Minora. The light represented the oath that was taken, connecting every monster and dwarf together under the King. This enables them to share their strengths, skills and titles.
"Today marks the birth of our nation." I said. "My first act as King is to name our Kingdom. From today onwards, our kingdom would be known as The Northern Empire. Glory to our Empire!"
"Glory to the Northern Empire. Glory to our Empire." The crowd shouted and cheered as they all rose to their feet.
"My second act as King," I continued. "is the naming of our capital city. The city of Millis."

After that the Declaration/Crowning ceremony was complete. But there was still things to do.
I abolished the terms, major and minor clans. All clans including the Dwarf's were made equal. The eight cities were named after eight colours: The Grey, Black, White, Red, Gold, Green, Blue and Silver Cities.
Official positions were granted. The eight leaders on the Northern Region were given the position of The Eight Lords of the Northern Empire. They were to rule the eight cities surrounding the capital.
Ash, the Grey Lord. Lord of the Grey City. Lisa, the Black Lord. Lord of the Black City. Mikey, the White Lord. Lord of the White City. Dawn, the Red Lord. Lord of the Red City. Anne, the Gold Lord. Lord of the Gold City. Lucy, the Green Lord. Lord of the Green City. Roger, the Blue Lord. Lord of the Blue City. Ralph, the Silver Lord. Lord of the Silver City
The seven leaders of Minora and Sean, were given the official post of The Eight Dukes of the Northern Empire.
Klaus, the Grey Duke. The Ogre Duke. Scott, the Black Duke. The Orc Duke. Adrian, the White Duke. The Goblin Duke. Sean, the Red Duke. The Dwarven Duke. Seth, the Gold Duke. The Slime Duke. Dina, the Green Duke. The Dryad Duke. Luke, the Blue Duke. The Lich Duke. Kris, the Silver Duke. The Lizardmen Duke.
They were each charged with the governing their territories from the capital by appointing Governors they trust to rule the cities in their stead. Making Millis the center of the government of the Northern Empire.
The Guardian of the Northern Empire, Millis, The Lords of the Northern Empire, The Dukes of the Northern Empire and I, the Emperor of the Northern Empire, together, were to be known as the Rulers of the Northern Empire.
Next, was the induction of the soldiers of the Imperial Military. With the Northern Empire having a population of Sixty Million people, the military also had to have a substantial amount of soldiers. Not just to defend the Kingdom. But also to prepare for the coming wars.
So, the military was created. Having a total population of almost Thirty million soldiers. Twenty million soldiers in active duty and ten million in inactive duty.
As the Emperor, I was given the official position of Supreme Commander, as the head of the Imperial Military.
Three women were chosen to lead the military under the Emperor as his Commanders. Aisha, the Commander of Millis. Lia, the Eastern Commander. Arianne, the Western Commander.
The Imperial Military was divided into Five Military Corps. The Capital Corp. The North Eastern Corp. The South Eastern Corp. The North Western Corp. The South Western Corp. With the Capital Corp having the largest amount of soldiers. Each Corp was under their command of their respective Commanders.
Five Generals were appointed to each Corp as its leader. Nick, the General of Millis. Trent, the North Eastern General. Rick, the South Eastern General. Liam, the North Western General. Troy, the South Western General.
Each Corp was divided into three squads. Making a total of fifteen (15) squads. Each squad was appointed a Captain to lead.
For the Capital Corp, under the charge of General Nick. The three squads and their captains were: Grey, Captain of Squad One. Head Captain of the Capital Corp. In charge of Information Control. Ace, Captain of Squad Three. In charge of the Royal Guards. Jade, Captain of Squad Four. In charge of Communications.
Every member of the military, were handpicked personally by the Lords, Dukes and I, based on their strengths and personality.
And so the ceremony came to an end. The whole Kingdom celebrated till dusk. Our long awaited wish, the unification of our race, had finally come true.
