The two blades clashed violently sending a shockwave flying through the air.
The two swordsmen put so much of their strength behind the attack that the ground under Derek cracked and sent splinters of stone flying.
Derek was surprised seeing Hack pushing him back with almost as much strength as he did, even without having any footing. He simply hovered in the air and pushed his sword.
Finally, the two swordsmen gave up and jumped back, both temporarily retreating before attack again. Another barrage of attacks from both sides. The soldiers around them heard the continuous cacophony of steel clashing on steel.
