Northern Empire
Millis City
Imperial Military Headquarters, Imperial House.
The Five Generals called the fifteen captains under them to the meeting room of the Imperial House.
Every general and captain were in attendance. The generals stood opposite the captains and watched them enter the room.
Then Nick stepped forward and started. "The War council is over. Our orders have been given. The South Western General Liam and the North Western General Rick are to take their captains and the five hundred elite soldiers, head west to the Black city's fort, the Black Fort. There, they will defend the fort alongside the Two million soldiers. The ones leading this war will be the Three Commanders. Every order from them should be obeyed without question."
Nick stopped looked around and continued. "Jade, Captain of Squad Three is to take a few of her soldiers to the fort and coordinate communication between the fort and the Rulers. Ace, you are to remain with the Emperor as head of the Royal Guard. Grey, you are to overlook every information that comes and report to the necessary person. Alright that's it everyone."
"Captains of the North Western Corp, Squad 13 Daisy, Squad 14 Derek, Squad 15 Rudy. Get in your uniform and get ready." Rick announced.
"Captains of the South Western Corp, Squad 4 Blaze, Squad 5 Donna, Squad 6 Tera. Get ready." Liam said.
"Alright everyone. Prepare to depart!" Nick exclaimed.

Outside the Imperial Military Headquarters.
Five hundred elite soldiers, Six Captains, Two Generals and Three Commanders had gathered outside the compound. They were awaiting their order to depart.
The Lords, Dukes, Millis and I were there to see them off.
They all wore the respective uniform of their stations. And as monsters prefer, they all had on light armour. Wearing heavy metal all over our body wasn't our way.
Few soldiers carried our flags. The flags of the Northern Empire. A nine coloured flag to show that our Empire is one of nine regions of the north united as one.
The soldiers of all had a dark horse with them. Travelling to the border shouldn't take time at all. They should be there by in four days.
I felt like I had to say something, even though I planned to join them on the battlefield in a few days time. So I stepped forward and started. "In five days the Margrave Army will be at our gates. And with you guys there, we'll be ready for them. Whatever the bring, we'll bring double. And we'll chase them back where they belong. Stay strong."
That was all I felt I could say. I was unsure of it. But as I finished, I could see the gleam in the eyes of the soldiers. It seems my speech worked. "For the Northern Empire!" I shouted.
"For the Northern Empire!" They all shouted back at me. Then they went on their respective horses and left.
The Rulers and I stayed to watch them as they marched away.

Millis City
Guardian Tower
Millis and I returned to her tower together.
I wanted to watch her as she watch the whole Empire from the tower.
We got up to the top of the tower and stared out at the Empire together. Though my All seeing eyes could not cover as much ground as her's did. We continued watching together in silence, then she asked me. "When are you leaving?"
"In two days." I replied.
"Please be careful."
"I'll try."
"No!" Millis exclaimed and looked at me. Her eyes looked sad. "This time, I want you to fight! Give it your all. Do not fight half-heartedly as you always do. Destroy any one in your way. Even though you will lose. Do NOT lose easily!"
Her sad and angry expression told me how much she cared. "I won't." I said to her.
Then we continued watching over the city together.

Three days later
Clearing Ten Miles South of the Black City Fort
Margrave Army Camp
Inside the largest tent in the camp. Supreme General Varrion, Prince Theo and General of the North, Torin and a few soldiers were holding a meeting.
A large table covered in maps stand in the middle of the tent, with the soldiers all around it.
Torin pointed at a spot on the map and said. "This is where we are now. Luckily, we got here a day earlier than we expected."
He drew a line with his finger on the map and stopped at a drawing of a wall. "This is the fort. We got this map from the Information Guild. So it should be accurate. But I have sent out scouts to check it out just in case. We are approximately ten miles out. The only reason we can't see the wall is because of this little forest blocking our view to the north. But the forest also provided us with proper cover. What is our plan General Varrion?"
Varrion looked at Torin and then turned back to look at the map. "As we discussed before we left Margrave, we will attack with half our forces and take the fort. Since we know that the monsters will not stay still in their fort and will come out to meet us. We will destroy them when they do. After that, our main aim would be to either destroy the gate, or have a team try to get over the wall and open it from the inside."
"The latter would not work." Torion interjected. "No team will be able to successfully get over the wall and open the gate. We have to do it from outside."
"Alright." Varrion nodded. "I will handle that. And once I have destroyed the gate, Prince Theo can lead a the rest of the army into the fort."
"What?!" Theo exclaimed. "So you want me to sit out most of the battle and just come in when it's all done? I won't do that. I will lead the army to attack the monsters outside the gate. And once those monsters are destroyed, we will attack the Gate together. We can have a soldier ride back and bring the rest of the army once that's over. And we take the fort. That is how we are attacking."
"Alright My Prince." Varrion said. "We will go with your plan.
After the meeting, Varrion was alone with his own direct subordinates. He stood resting on the table while looking at the map. He looked more serious than he did when he was with the king himself.
"Kevin. Garin." Varrion called to the two of his strongest soldiers. "The two of you will ride with Prince Theo. Protect him with your life. We attack in two days."
