Chapter 1 - 1. first day

My feet kept on moving slowly on the pavement as I was so eager to go to my new campus, walking on the fallen pink leaves of the cherry blossom tree.

As I came closer to the school, I saw a lot of students who were probably going to campus like me. As soon as I reached my destination, I stood in front of the campus holding my bag which was rested on my shoulder.

I was admiring the campus that how big and dashing it looked from far. Yes!! It's my first day at "Haywards campus". Before going inside, I took a deep breath and went ahead....I wanted to thank my parents and remove all the nervousness inside me so I moved my leg forward but at the same time a car stopped in front of me, due to which I turned my back.

But it was not an ordinary car, it was a black luxury car, which looked very expensive just by looking at it. My hand balled into a fist cause I really want to yell at the stupid person who was driving the car.

If I had not moved my feet back, my feet would have become salsa along with my Sneakers.

'click'

The door opened as I turned my head in the direction from where the sound came.

A boy came out of the car who a plain bright white shirt with Balenci*g* written on it. He ran his hand through his dark brown hair and wiped his lips through his tongue.

The car's engine started and it drove away as the boy who came out from car landed his eyes on me. His eyes looked me up and down and again met my eyes.

"sorry" it was what I was expecting from him but rather than apologizing he gave me a disgusting look and walked inside the campus leaving me dumbfounded.

*yikes... not an ideal way to start a day* I thought

I shaked my head trying to ignore what just happened and walked inside the campus.

The campus was way bigger than i thought.

All the students were invited in the open ground of the campus for the principal - students meeting which was only held for the fresh high schoolers. I entered the ground where a huge stage was built. The rest of the students were already standing and were talking to kill their boredom.

I joined them and stood in the corner.....

The principal came in 10 minutes and discussed literally 'nothing'. She just talked about her high school life, her ups and downs and the most important part "being a scholar".

Nobody was listening her except the teachers who were agreeing on everything she said like it was the most relatable thing.

After 40 minutes the speech ended and all of the students were told to take there schedule and home class from a particular place.

I was handed the schedule of the week and Mrs Willson was my home teacher. But still I didn't know my class number also it was my first time in the campus that makes me more confused.
